The day of the $1MM+ CGT is here

https://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-...l#post12225560

I'll report back to this thread with any real offers... I've gotten several unsolicited offers beginning with $6xxk and $7xxk. It'll be interesting to see where the market really is, I had no idea it was this hot. I'm hoping that I'll be able to swing a hypercar and keep the CGT, but need an alternate plan. #firstworldproblems

CGT is just now hitting it's stride - collectors are paying 3M for the Enzo 1.5 for the F40.

You have seen these cars going up at a rate of 50 - 100k per month the ride isn't over.

I don't see any reason why they will stop going up either. No more analog super cars, whereas the hybrid hypercars will certainly be replaced. The more I think about this, the more I want to keep the car. Dang it! Hopefully no one offers anything crazy and I'll just have to keep it

I'm curious what your guards red will bring with 9600 miles since my dad's has 4800 miles. I bet your selling price will be pretty close to the 800k mark if not a little more from what I have seen lately! Best of luck!

The real question is, do you think your dad would sell his? It'd be hard to say no to an $800-$1MM offer, or maybe not if prices continue to rise. I honestly have never driven a better car. I haven't driven a hypercar yet...

Pretty easy for me to say no to an offer like that. There's nothing else like it out there, and nothing else I'd want to replace it with...at any price.

The thing is prices are getting so high it is hard to say no, but as racingfan said, can you ever replace it? I am positive we will never see another car as pure as the CGT, but it is so damn tempting to take an offer of 1M and move on.

I am stuck now with my white car. Its too valuable to enjoy too much as its so rare, but I want to drive the damn thing everyday! Not sure what to do....

Another great point DesmoRR. I used to take the CGT anywhere, now I'm thinking I have to be more selective...

I can't figure out why more aren't exported.

Eventually we are going to have very few CGT's in the US.

Desmo - you have the CGT to shatter the US 1M glass ceiling after that or one like it ... if that exists no one will list under 1m.

Him and I have discussed this a few times. Right now the answer is no he will not sell it at the $800-$1MM price point. Although he bought it four years ago and would stand to make a good profit, the amount of money he would make won't do anything to change his style of life. Yes it would be great to have more cash in the bank but it boils down to he likes the car too much and would regret selling it. I've driven it for a few hundred miles and I know the feeling you get from being behind the wheel so I am in support of keeping it too.

As many of you know my red CGT was recently fully serviced, I was offered $850,000 for the car after completion.

I didn't sell nor would I even at 1M.

a) The car is not be replaceable
b) Bet your *** a large portion of the money you think you've made was actually made by your government and they will be waiting for their handout.

The unrealized gain and my immense passion for the car clearly outweigh selling her, but that's just me

Thanks for sharing the documented service - didn't know that was your car.

I am in the 1M club with you in hopes we don't hear crickets.

Ricky my guess across the pond they already have.
