I’ve just finished the operation with isudar panel as saw in this post… unfortunately there is no sound… everything works, connection is O.K, but silence in the car. Could anyone help me?

Sounds like you did not move the two orange fibre optic cables from the back of the Porsche wiring harness into the Isudar one.
Apologies if this has been brought up. Got a WhatsApp message from Insudar advertising their "upgraded" board. The upgrade appears to be the following: The new version of the carplay box adds two chips:
DAC+Operational Amplifier, which cancels the original method of converting digital signals into analog signals and outputting them through the main control chip, and instead converts them through an external chip.
The analog signal converted in this way The quality is higher, and the transmission distance of the analog signal on the circuit board is shortened, thereby reducing the interference of the external signal source to a minimum.
The new version improves the quality of the output source signal to remove noise and improve sound quality.
I understand that the quality won't get any better than the analog AUX input can provide but still curious is there a substantial difference compared to the "old" model?
After several weeks of somewhat normal use, started getting intermittent black screen. Today, the screen has gone totally black. Radio is on and BT phone works but no other key has any affect. Any one else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Those with occasional black screen: try removing XM board and try again. it may help. I think in my car PCM doesn’t get enough power for both.
After iSudar update got me stuck and my PCM went black, I have tried many things, including replacing PCM, replacing iSudar, etc. It may be that something is damaged in my car and PCM doesn’t get enough power to powerup iSudar in the car or that their update changes something that my car doesn’t like. I switched to Mr12v per Santirx’s suggestion positive experience and review and same issue. Eventually I discovered that removing XM board fixes the issue. I don’t care for XM anyway so I’m a happy camper. But I gotta tell you. Follow Santirx. Once I got Mr12v working in my car and experienced the sound qualityI knew I am not going back to iSudar (I had both versions of iSudar). If you want to do a fresh CarPlay install, I absolutely recommend Mr12v. All credit to @Santirx
@FHAsvadi , if u have XM, remove the XM board and try again. It may solve ur issue.

They said it was a common failure of the PCM. Repair wiped out my VIN from PCM so I had to get the dealer to reinstall the enabling codes. 1k to repair PCM and dealer cost 500 install enabling codes.
Recently when talking on my iPhone (iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 16.1.1) I've been driving along, bluetooth connected to isudar, bluetooth connection to "CarPlay"....caller cannot hear my voice at all. So I connect to PCM bluetooth connection. Works fine, unless iPhone switches back to the CarPlay connection for audio.
I cannot delete the CarPlay bluetooth or else CarPlay won't work. I cannot delete PCM connection or else callers can't hear me.
what can I do to prioritize microphone/audio connection via PCM while maintaining the CarPlay pairing so I can use the touchscreen?
I've just ordered the Isudar unit and noticed in the spec it shows there are inputs for a reversing camera. Does this mean I can connect one directly or do I need an additional upgrade to enable me to have reversing cameras? I currently only have the proximity sensors (with the image on the screen showing an overhead car image with red / amber / green graphics showing how close obstacles are). I wasn't expecting to get reversing camera upgrade at the same time but having seen the spec I'm now wondering if that is an added bonus on the board?
Opened up the PCM and discovered a component failure. Considering everything was working fine for several weeks, I can only assume the board had a defective component. Took the board out and PCM is back to normal.
Wrote to Kimi to see about a replacement. You can see the black marks above the terminal with the yellow wires.

Oh yes… that seems to be a catastrophic failure. Good thing it didn’t take the PCM with it. Good luck with Kimi… hope they answer quickly.
