This helped a lot, thanks for the input. I did however find that there's a possibility to stream sound via Bluetooth AUX and the quality was much better, but I removed that option to avoid any potential issues of Bluetooth priority. One issue I found on the iSudar CarPlay module is when there's music playing and maps going on simultaneously, I don't like how the sound varies in between the two. To clarify, music volume increases when maps directions are announced, and then volume decreases. I set up the volume now at 27 for all options in the iSudar unit but didn't have a chance to check the changes yet as I had to get back to my work meetings. All in all, quite happy with the system, it's so much more responsive even compared to the Android 10 tablet that we installed on my wife's vehicle.

Hi Guys,

I also bought a set of Isudar and installed in my PCM3.1 successfully, but i have a question and want to see if you guys also facing the same problems.

1. When the car is turned off, and locked the car. I can still see the Isudar module is on cause in my Iphone setting, i am still able to connect successfully through bluetooth
2. The Mic that come with the unit, has anyone try to install it on a 911, or boxster or Cayman. somehow the Mic i have, it would fit or mount in the boxster 981.

Thanks
Gilbert

I have also noticed that the car will stay connected for approx 30 mins to my iphone wifi......this is advantageous if you are a quick stop somewhere and close by.
But iSudar hijacks my wifi till i get far enough away or 30 mins.......

what do you mean the Wifi, i thought the Carplay is connected through bluetooth, the issue I have is making me worry the Isudar will continue to drain the battery of the car as i can see after a few hours, i am still able to go to my iphone setting, bluetooth and connect the Isudar module

Agree, it's advantageous, and I hope that the battery drain doesn't become too significant.

It uses both, you can check that in the connections when you go to the Settings. The higher quality of Apple CarPlay over Bluetooth is credited to the establishment of WiFi connection.

I believe this is a native function of the PCM 3.1......it stays powered up this long......so hence the board.....

I have the sound variation also listening to music and using maps.

Thanks
