The only way we will get a fix on this is if we verified users feedback to iSudar. Seems they are selling a few of these ,if now on Amazon.

Assuming I can pull the vent out, the rest of the process does not seem to be a difficult one. Some questions if you don't mind.
My car does not have a push to talk (albeit call button) on the left handle of the steering wheel. Do I need to install a mic somewhere in the vent? The manual says I can press the hang-up button for 10 seconds to talk to Siri, then why the mic was included?
My car also has a USB connector in the center console, but the video shows that the USB was installed. Each car is different so I would appreciate it if you could provide some guidance.
Best,
Jon

Hey guy,
I just got an promo code from ISUDAR that is valid until tomorrow (may be reactived later).
You can safe 14% on it. I ordered just now in EU, so I paid now with shipping (to Germany) 224€.
So I you consider to order, that is your chance to safe some extra ;-)
I was also told that there should be an FW Update available within the next two weeks. You should Check the Webpage and Facebook side from ISUDAR. Update should than be able with the USB:

Best regards,

Ok. Sorry to bother you again. I installed the Isudar unit on my Panamera.
Because of the power insert, it didn't seem to have clearance for Isudar unit at the first glance. So I took it away assuming that I don't need XM radio anyway. Now PCM is not even booting. I guess that it's because of the XM radio unit I took away.
I tried rebooting PCM 3.1 with holding the INFO and SOUND Buttons at the same time for about 10 - 15 seconds to Reboot/Reset. Oh, bummer.

Put everything back on, PCM boots normally. So it must be the XM radio I took out or I have a faulty power connector. I decided not to bother anymore as the purpose is only for the map. Big thanks to the OP and others to guide me on this adventure.
If someone wants to take out the vent, I would recommend:
and
You need to take a look at this video for removing the vent.
If you follow this procedure, you don't need to purchase a toolset from aliexpress.com.
One last thing, the CD player connector should be installed in opposite direction from other connectors.
I hope that others have a successful adventure.
Best,
Jon

Updated firmware for PCM3.1
This firmware is only suitable for the problem of not being able to adjust the volume well. If your device PCM 3.1 is not this issue, please do not upgrade!!
MCU Firmware for PCM 3.1: Click here to get firmware:https://www.isudar.com/blogs/download/download
(Step: Copy these 3 files "gd_upgrade.bin +mcuupgrade.bin+upgrade.bin" to empty USB-Carplay setting-About version information-MCU update.
1. It can solve the problem of separate sound adjustment between the panel button and the original car control.
2. If there is no original steering wheel control on your car, the problem of panel sound not working can be solved with updating this MCU.

@Kimiiii Thank you! These is one of 3 issues I wanted to see solved. This works great now after the update.
As a reminder, the other 2 issues are:
1. Steering Wheel Return Button is controlling CarPlay in the PCM, when this button is really intended to control the Multi Function Display in the Instrument Panel. Desired Behavior: The Steering Wheel return button should not control CarPlay. Only the PCM return button should control CarPlay.
2. When phone is paired to PCM (like it should be) and you are in CarPlay, when pressing the steering wheel phone call receiver button, the calls goes on hold. Desired Behavior: When phone is paired to PCM and call is received, we should be able to press the steering wheel phone call receive button and call should not go on-hold.
Kimi, I know you have answered a number of emails saying this is normal behavior, but you said the same thing about the volume control. Now the volume control is completely fixed, and I hope you can take care about these other two issues.
