Sounds like a Tech Pack model. If you don't buy that car please pass dealer POC - that car will be sold in minutes if it's a Track Pack or 2017....

I've been scanning for a used one with some miles, bids get to around $50k but not closing. Interested to see where prices will be in a few months.

Always a risk. I got caught once 10 years ago well into triple digits on an empty highway and was sentenced to 3 months in jail - served 3 days (great lawyer). Worth it.

I've been looking for 16 TP or 17 w/Recaros so not a detractor of the car or brand and have an Raptor coming, but their review without caveats to price reads like confirmation bias. "I saved $200,000 and have the better car". Nothing personal was intended, and hopefully Porsche drivers aren't hated for not applauding two Mustang guys in a vid.

Different strokes for different folks.

But I will say this. The Porsche build quality/materials is second to none. My 6 year car, feels like a new car; no squeaks, rattles, or anything loose.

The Porsche GT-series value retention is also class-leading.

And that's besides the driving experience. I did consider the GT350 briefly prior to the GT3 acquisition. But no dealers would talk to me when I said I wasn't interested in paying ADM. And there wasn't much on the private used market.

Oh well I guess all the cool toys are hated by the "internet" - I immediately picture millennial basement dwellers and pedophiles in the comments section but hey I guess they count too haha.

I will say this in the GT350 it's usually a lot of conversation and thumbs up. In the 911 it's the occasional thumbs up and the occasional middle finger lol. Couldn't care less - and yes the GT3 built quality is unmatched agree on that. Love them all. We're lucky people.

performance ford called last week. inbound cars. the sales reps said they have a few sitting and 5 or so on the way. I have spoke to about 10 dealers within 30 miles of charlotte and there are many either sitting or inbound. not sure if its dealers prepping for winter floor plan or soft market on gt350's there are a load of cars out there. Thats just one dealer that has been calling me back on 2017 inbound cars. My close local dealer has 3 coming in anytime now as well. hope this helps

16's and some early 17's under recall cannot be sold new by the dealer or they risk huge fines. It is my understanding that GT350's are not being built over the winter with production expected to start again in spring of 17.

i have no idea, i just started shopping for a car for next year until the new gt3 comes avaialbe and after hitting up a few dealers have been getting pounded with calls all wanting to move incoming cars or sitting cars, i have not researched recalls, not really in a hurry for anything until march.
