Very sorry for your misfortune. I worry about this sort of thing all the time concerning my Spyder.
As to your question, I am in Florida and did suffer a similar scenario a few years back. My cream puff 996 TT was taken out in a parking lot by a cretin in a piece of s$&t truck who came off the road across a sidewalk and nailed it at a significant speed.
I hired Barrett Smith to do a diminished value assessment for submission on my claim. I was very happy with his service.
What I didn't anticipate was that the idiot who caused $15k damage to my car only had a $10k policy so my insurance had to pay for the repair. In Florida you can only get diminished value compensation out of the other party's insurance, so I was SOL.
To add insult to injury, I have a $2k deductible. The judge ordered him to reimburse the deductible. I got about $150 back and then he stopped paying. He appeared to be a park bench vagrant so I never pursued it further.

Sorry to see that.
Looks like cosmentic only.
Idiots like that make me nervous any time I take one of my cars out.
If it makes you feel better a front fender replacement on an 991GT3RS is $14,000.00.

No Cars and Coffee jokes and I have already heard from my buddies that all Rustangs have been wrecked ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Has anybody got any experience doing a diminished value claim in FL. If so what was your experience. I am not going to go quietly.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Good thing I like this car as I doubt I will be my usual trade or sell every 12 months or so.

Was nice meeting you again last weekend.
Make sure they check that A pillar, any kind of damage to that structure and the car is toast in my mind.

Preliminary visual assessment seems to be no A pillar and the door sill showed no obvious damage. The individual who caused the damage seems to be a successful business owner so I don't anticipate a lack of assets to cover the damage.
Thanks Mark I will check out your info.
If this had happened in my CGTS it would have been bad and probably taken out the front a pillar, totaled the car and I would expect I would have been injured.

I made it through 96 pages of this thread so far and I'm starting to look for a used 2016 Track Pack car. I'm finding many of the ads, especially from dealers, don't list the options on the car. Not sure if this is because they don't know what they have or don't have the original window sticker etc.
Is there a way to determine what package the 2016's have using the VIN number? I see most start with 1FAGP8JZ_Gxxxxx in the underline position I see different numbers 1-9. I saw a 2016 GT350R with a VIN of 1FATP8JZ1Gxxxxxx.

Go to:
http://beaverdamautos.com/windowsticker.php
Enter the VIN and hit submit, scroll down and click "Window Stickers" and then click "Quic Window Sticker" and a printable basic version should open.
Ford used to offer free public access to the original window stickers for 2007 and newer vehicles, but recently, they ended that service. They still offer it, however it can only be accessed by a dealership now and they have to pay Ford a monthly service fee for the service.

4k over a 60k sticker a good deal or should I keep pushing? I buy about 300k in trucks a year from this dealership which is why they say they aren't asking for 10k over, but I'm still a little skeptical.
My first choice gray with black stripes on black wheels...... I need something I can drive without worrying about miles.
