Don't want to be a downer, but my dealer said that allocations will be sent out two weeks from now after the 918 VIP window. They told me that my order will be more than likely locked two weeks from that point. So if you are #1 at your dealer, PTS will not be an option unless you pass on your #1 spot... then you risk loosing a allocation altogether. I hope I'm wrong... but Porsche's record for the PTS process should speak for itself.

918 VIP Program...
American Express in the 80's used to say 'Membership Has It's Privileges'. But the 918 VIP Program, with its '918 Spyder Circle', has even the American Express' 'Black Card' (The 'Centurion' is made of anodized titanium) beat!
Don't knock on this door unless you stepped up to the plate and ordered a 918:

Being 6'3" has it's advantages and disadvantages. Broadway shows are a pain in the a$$ and so is flying coach. This is a car I want to keep for life. Anyway, I've lived just a 5 minute walk from the local dealer for the past 10 years and problematics of the boxster for people taller than 6'2" is what I was told by various sales associates over the years on my visits there. I was told not to even consider the older boxster. When the new one came out they wanted me to sit in it so I could appreciate the extra inch of leg room. They still show some concern about getting a Boxster because of the small size of the interior.
The majority of my driving would be top down anyway unless it's a cross country trip.
What color do you think would highlight the curves the best? I don't much about this.
