Thanks for hosting last night, guys. I was way off the pace and tried to stay out of everyone's way. I find it darn near impossible to consistently threshold brake to the correct speed coming off those fast straights. I'm usually way too slow for the next straight, or, all too often, too hot and into the weeds. Anyway, that's what practice is for, I guess.
I do love trying the different cars and tracks with drivers who aren't going to punt you off the road (sorry if I punted anyone last night - I don't think so. . .). Anyway, thanks again!

Burning Brakes
Doh sorry. I'm solo at the office this week and leaving for SCCA nationals in 3 days on top of the wife just getting back from her trip tonight so I forgot it tonight and definitely won't be able to play next week at all. I'll try to make Wednesday but its not looking good. I'll be back to normal in 2 weeks.

Drifting
Good racing Tom. Too bad we came together on the last lap. That should have been a light tap on both ends, but somehow you got launched and I sustained only minor damage. I tried to avoid you, but by the time I realized you were sliding it was too late and I locked up the rears. Not the way I want to win for sure.
I was too aggressive on the curbing at the beginning and it cost me the position the first time and a slow down penalty the second.
The consensus seems to be the Lotus 79 is the car for the next few rounds. So what's the track gonna be? Perhaps a classic track? Zandvoort, Watkins glen, Zolder, Spa?

Intermediate
Nutty race this week. Contact in the same turn on the first and last laps. Lots of spins abound.
We were talking Lotus during the race. Lots of great places to run that car, and it's the Belgian GP this week for F1. Zandy, VIR, Motegi, Brands Hatch are all on the regular schedule so it shouldn't be hard to dig up a decent baseline setup. I'm running VIR official later in the year.
