What the heck have you been doing, racing??

First time in the 79 and overall I really like though I'm not sure about my setup. I love Spa, all the mistakes you make you can still not only not damage the car but save the lap. Should be a good race, the car doesn't seem to mind a heavy fuel load either.

Sorry I missed practice; got some other things going on though I'll be there Wednesday
I see Bedros is bustin' out 2'05s
In test sessions, I'm running 2'08s with a low df setup, but no one to draft. Should be an interesting race.

I ran 207 and 208s on high DF setup with just 1,4, and 5th gear changed with a very minor change. I tried Bedros's setup and found it too unstable to survive a 30 minute race in my hands.

on an unrelated note, does anyone here have the iracing plugin to convert ATLAS data to Motec? there are a few threads in the iracing forums on it but they're all pretty convoluted, I need a quick and easy answer on what plugin I need and a tutorial. anyone have a shortcut for me?

I don't.
Reminder race tonight! All are welcome (unless we fill up then I assume priority to rennlisters):
7:30 ET, Look for CXC Simulations Racing League usually hosted by C. Lawrence and click join. It'll ask for a password, which is mrroblay.

and I solved my Motec problems, that system is SO MUCH BETTER than using the McLaren/Atlas stuff built into iracing. there's a conversion tool on the iracing forums that will automatically convert the data, cool beans

Welcome to the party!
Good race today for me, drove clean though I started to screw up in the end when I was catching Justin a bit. Spa is as fun as expected. I forgot already and haven't scrolled back up, whats next week?

Zandvoort!
We are talking about setting a full limit for a mandatory stop. I'll try to get some fuel numbers this weekend.
Spa was a trip! At the start, I had to give way to Tom going into Eau Rouge but in the draft I hit 185 going into Les Combes and caught the leaders...just couldn't pull the trigger on turning in underneath, as I was afraid I'd hose the leaders. As is is, I went off through those esses and dropped back behind Jochen about three seconds. I'd start to catch up on the two long straights, but lose my gains through the tight sections. A couple of offs, then a pit speeding penalty when I stopped for a splash of fuel, THEN another off in the Les Combs esses and I was done.
Great time, as always!

I spun into Les Combs trying not to run over Ed on the start, then hit the wall coming out of LaSource at the end of that lap, then pitted and forgot to adjust the fuel thing so had a full tank the rest of the race.
still finished 4th. I'll take it.
I actually really liked this combination, it was much better than i thought it was going to be.

Zandvoort has what looks like 5 different configurations. Which one are we going to use? I'm thinking about actually practicing before Monday for a change as this rare rain here makes me want to do more indoor stuff tonight.
