cool... I see there's a practice session at laguna seca on sunday in the RUF RT 12 C-spec. Haven't played around with that car much. Are there a lot of set-up options? It took me forever to get a set-up that was half-way decent on the C6R (and I had to get Gary's file as a starting point)... hoping the options are more limited on this car.

Everyone tends to share their setups in the practice/race sessions, so check that when you first login. I'm currently running one of the setups that Justin shared during our last practice session. The c-spec is what we're currently planning on running for the points league. It's a bit harder to master than the track version but it's the closest thing to an actual cup car.

For the new guys our current format is a practice on Sunday 7-9pm (est) and then a race on Wednesday 830-1030pm (est). Drivers aids are enabled for practice sessions but are disabled during our Wednesday sessions. We have guys that are completely new to sim racing and guys that are iracing veterans, so everyone should find someone to be competitive with.

Alright our league now has 23 members! I believe that every single one is a rennlist member with the exception of my friend Tom that I invited.

Currently our races are set to a max of 26 participants, but I imagine that most people will not make EVERY race.

26 sounds low for some races, doesn't it?

Is that a limit of the League setup or is that flat across the board?

Our current races that are configured are setup for 26, you can select more when you create the session. I'm not sure if we can change sessions after they're created. It shouldn't be a problem.

Last time we ran this, we barely could get more than about 6-7 cars consistently with a couple spikes to 10. It would be awesome to hit that 26 driver cap.

Thanks to who ever set up the Sunday practice. I went to set it up and found someone beat me too it

Any session can be changed until race time. so if we get 27 or 30 drivers we can accommodate it.
Yeah the last time we ran as the rennlist group we were fairly low in numbers at times so 23 is awesome

Sean I setup the practice session, but i added you as an admin just in case I messed up a setting. I just realized a few minutes ago that I can edit the session before it starts so I changed the weather to realistic to match the race setting.

If we're able to keep 10 racers per week I'll be really happy. I'm sure within the next 6 weeks we'll have some drop off. Lime Rock and other short tracks will get rather interesting with 20 drivers, I might end up being a rolling chicane at that point.

One thing I've had to get used to is keeping my line when someone wants to pass. At first I was trying to move out of the way, but then would end up blocking. So to new guys learn from my mistake, read the sporting code! If a faster driver is behind you, hold your line and (hopefully) they will pass you safely on a straight.

Just created my first paint job, still work in progress, uploaded it to trainingpaints.com so hopefully everyone will be able to see it and know I'm the slow guy :-)
