I'll definitely be there...I have the new wheel sorted (at least basically - there's a lot of tweaking options available). Knocked a full second off my PB with tonight's/Wednesday's combo.

do you have a setup?

I couldn't decide where to start...high downforce or medium downforce. short gear set is a bit too short for the front straight but long gear set is too long in the corners.

anyone have a solution?

Yep, I have a pretty decent 20 lap setup I tweaked from a Suzuka setup I had. I'll share it as soon as I'm in tonight's session.

I managed to launch my car so far into the weeds that the sim automatically put me back onto pit lane, but that is an impressive long jump record there

what happened when you went sailing past me on the grass into T1? outbrake yourself?

what set were you using? you and Julian were nearly a second clear of the rest of us. share sets please

You guys will like Julian, he's pretty talented in real life, I'm curious to see how iRacing works for him with us.

I got within a tenth of Julian but it took me a lot of laps testing minor things and found I like Ed's shared setup. Car is a lot of fun to drive and recover from mistakes, should make for good racing.

And yes, I too put it so far into the woods while learning the track they just reset me in the pits rather than dig my car out, hold services for my virtual driver, etc.

I don't understand this car. Never really good with open wheel aero cars. I just took the high downforce set and tweaked from there. Tried running with lower wings and tried fixing some of the squigglies with the dampers, but nothing really good came out of it.

..oh yeah, and the jump just reset me. As far as I remember it used to let you fly without resetting. Maybe they patched it to prevent wreckers.
