How about a practice session at Road America? I'll host it.

Thanks for hosting tonight, I dropped off about 30min from the end, but was able to better my time my a few tenths. Also tried my black car to just make sure it was just as fast as the yellow one :-)
See you guys Wed. night!

For anyone interested, the server is up for anyone to connect. Look for RUF Track-Road America

Haha I got "in the zone" for a while there and managed to run some pretty quick laps. A lot of guys were running really good times tonight, I think there were a couple others down into the 43's, and several more in the 44's. Hopefully we can give JustinL a run for his money on Wednesday...

That's moving. I think I did a 43.3 last night but that I'm pretty sure was with a tow. Nice job!

This week is going to be tight if we close due to weather tomorrow. I hate this area when it snows. Hopefully I can make it! I was busy filling myself with meat at a Brazilian steakhouse downtown, so I could make there practice hosted tonight.

Good time last night all! I need lots more practice turning in. 1:43 was fast, and I could only muster a 1:46. Jim, were you running the shared setup?

I'd hose tonight but I have drinking, I mean bowling night.

I was running Sean's set he posted on Saturday.

I'll have to try it back to back against the default to see how different it feels. The session I hosted on Sat was in the daytime. I did a 46.2 there on the default and didn't realize how much faster the car was at night. I overheard him say his optimal was a 44 and I about fell out of my chair as I was in the high 47s at the time. When the session ended I noticed he shared a set so I grabbed it, and Sunday started off with his.

I don't know how much of the 3s difference is the setup, the cold air, and the added seat time.

FWIW, Apexaddict and I both ran 43s on the stock setup with just some fuel removed. I'd like to try other setups as the one shared I couldn't consistently go faster on and the changes I did on the stock setup always proved slower and/or harder to control. I really suck at iracing setups.

I haven't made a practice for more than a few laps this week, but last night in my test session I was able to get down to the low 47s. I think I'm running a setup from the iracing forums that I modified. I need to get in a session with some faster drivers so i can watch their replays

Also I don't know the track well enough yet to run without the driving line so hopefully I'll get some time tonight to learn the track better.

Does anyone have a bluetooth headset working with their system for the radio? I have a single ear USB unit now, I like the single ear as then I can still hear a lot of the sound coming from the speakers but would like something wireless, hoping to find a bluetooth until that has a USB adaptor or something.

I've seen them used for work in the past but not for gaming. This one is NLA but you get the idea they are out there:

I just use headphones with a mic and just throw the phones around my neck. Then if I need to use the phones cause the wife thinks its too late, I can just toss them on.
