Yep, when you call up the Fuel screen, hit left of right arrow to decrease/increase fuel load.

Good race guy, Justin and Bedros were gone. My force feedback just stopped working right at the beginning of the race but I dont think it affected my lap times, just was very weird.

See Ryan, I told you slightly slower and steady pays off!

Bummer for Andy and Ed with the damage, that ruins the race.

Tom, thanks for the advice... If only I would have listened a little more carefully I could have avoided my first lap off in 5a, and I think you and I could have had a pretty fun race! I actually remembered why I behave in the Cadillac.... Safety rating. I just applied that same thought process.

Don't know why I thought the race was 30 min, and 15 gallons was the right number.

Nice driving everyone!

I'll be taking next Wednesday off to get ready for the Toledo Pro Solo, fingers crossed that my shifter kart will be ready to roll...

Yep, fun race! Managed to slip through the T1 offs, and then spent 12 laps in P3 being chased by Tom; he was clearly faster and would close in, slip back, then close in some more. I finally went off on T3 on Lap 13, took damage, limped back to the pits, then black flagged from the pits as I exited. Finished 2 laps down, but, as always, had a great time.

Thanks for the setups, Bedros

Yup, except rather than waiting until you get into an incident, make this part of your Grid Routine. As soon as I grid I throw up F3, Optimal Lap Split, turn off fuel, stare coldly at Ed, etc.

Sounds like it was a good time last night. Sorry I missed it. We had our monthly Porsche Water Coolers club meeting last night. I was going to try and make the race but beer and b.s. got in the way.

Whats the combo for next week?
Lotus @ Barber
Silver Crown @ Michigan
Solstice @ Mid Ohio
Ford V8 @ The Glenn

Bedros had great pace yesterday. I was able to out launch him at the start to take the lead for a few laps, but I bobbled it coming into T3 and had to let him by. After that, I was about 1 second back for the next 10 laps or so. Bedros would make a mistake every once and a while, but I would either repeat his mistake or make a brand new mistake trying to find a different line to get around him. The closest I got was in the final lap coming out of Moss. I had closed right up on his bumper and thought I had the car settled, but it kicked out and I bent a wheel on the wall. It would have been close!

Good times.

So what's next? I'll be gone from tomorrow until Sunday at a ProSolo again but I'll host another practice session Monday night.

Works for me. How does the Star Mazda drive. Both a car and track I don't know, yet.

Summit Point is one of the free content tracks, and a great one

Star Mazda you'll have to buy, tons of grip/downforce, but gearing matters...not a real powerful engine and a pretty narrow rev band. it's a fun car.

Works for me. I don't mind buying the content, I eventually want to try it all and this series is giving me good excuses to do so. I'm still trying to recruit more people.

I'm trying to walk the line between being amenable/affordable for those new to iracing and yet still having cool cars/tracks...tougher than I thought

I think it's a great deal to buy all the content at once (25% off!) but I know not everyone can, or wants to, do that. I think I spent $400 or so at once doing that.

Which Configuration?
Star Mazda is a blast to drive. The Skippys are doing Sp main course this week.
