Diesel Cayenne and VW emission issue

Me too. After I took the CD back in after I had the fix done, I asked my SA about subsequent versions of the flash. He didn't seem confident that there would be any. So it's good to hear that have been some revisions. When I'm next in, I'll have them give it another go.

Been away for a bit and good to see the topic is alive and well and providing solid feedback for owners with and without the fix. I will have to give the new flash a try as just mentioned. Heading if for service tomorrow and will ask the techs. Mtea, Thank you for creating and managing the survey.

Skiahh,
We need more information on the updated flash/ model year. My service adviser says there are none for my 2015 CD. How about posting the version number of the latest flash?

^^^ Skiahh, what does your dealer's worksheet looks like?
On other news, as if it is not over until the * lady sings," I suspect that Porsche's involvement is more deeper than just borrowing Audi's TDI engine. Does anyone know what Joerg Kerner do? Head of engine development. I thought Porsche's main engine development are some V8 engines (and those V6 derived from it) plus the flat 6 and flat 4.

You may have to ask the service adviser or tech what the actual firmware version installed was. PIWIS can tell I would hope. I don't know if Durametric can do that, I'll have to look. My car goes in next week for hot coolant smell after shutdown, rough shifting while warming up and turbo lag. I'll be asking them for the version numbers installed on my car. If enough of us can report our firmware versions we might be able to see how many versions might be in use.

While late for us, Bosh giving a shot for the next generation diesels. What is not said is what type diesel fuel they will use.

Unless there is a mechanism to do this which I would have to believe would require over-site from an entity like EPA - CARB

I brought my CD in this week to see if they had a newer flash that might improved my cold shifting stumble. My 2015 ECU flash is version 0007. The head technician and service adviser told me there is no new flash for the emission fixed diesels. They said Porsche had enough trouble getting the present version approved and weren't going to mess with it. Based on this I feel any talk of a newer flash is just talk until we can see a different flash version show up. I urge anyone bringing their CD in for service to ask the technicians to tell you the ECU flash version you have installed.
My transmission software version is 3373 as others have posted.

I have a Durametric Pro so I can look at mine later today and see if I'm also on 7.
