Since I don't have scanning tools, I wonder if someone with a pre fix can check what version they have. If it is 6, then 7 is the only one post fix. Unless there are versions 6.1-.9

I put my VIN online today on their site and it says the vehicle is part of it, doesn’t necessarily say it’s affected though, now I’m confused.

Mine's been fixed and can confirm the engine sw version is also 0007.

Transmission software version is 3373.

I haven't had the chance to go back and check on this, but they are a VW/Audi/Porsche dealer, so maybe he meant several revisions (or versions) received for all the various models they had to fix.

Had our shop diesel fixed, it gets driven everyday. When its cold it holds gears longer. Other then that, possibly a little more diesel sound. Put it up on the lift and we have the shiny new mid-pipe. Waiting for the aftermarket to come out with a reasonably priced tune for "off road use only."

Hello All, New ‘15 CD owner here and just wanted to say that I love the CD but the hesitation from a rolling stop is awful. Going to take it in and see if there is anything they can do with it. Have only had it for a month so still getting accustomed to it. Wish I could have driven a pre-fix one to compare.

I am starting to notice this also. In fact, the more miles we put on it the worse it seems to be getting.

I'm thinking PCNA will be getting an email soon.

I agree, seems to be getting worse as I approach 7500 miles. Sport mode seems to barely change anything (makes it a little better). My issue is mostly from the car holding onto 3rd gear too long when slowing to 25 mph or so then accelerating. Have to give it a ton of throttle to get a downshift to 2nd gear then it takes off (not very smooth).

^^^ maybe keep doing the adaptation reset? - Turn key to 2nd position and press accelerator down for 5-10 seconds.

Don't know what else to say since mine is unfixed and reading through reports, either you guys (the fixed ones) either don't care or really hate it

I just brought my 2015 CD with the fix in to the dealer complaining about the turbo lag. They compared my car's performance to another CD and they both behaved the same way. The turbo lag was there before the fix. No error codes were found. I was advised to regularly drive the car on the highway to keep the diesel particulate filter clear.

I believe turbo lag has always been there. It is just how much pronounced it becomes after the fix. I have an unfixed one and I occasionally experience the "nothing happens" after pushing down the accelerator and then the CD shoots out like a rocket.

The CD has always had lag. Pretty significant lag.

How much of this is placebo? It went from a "that's just how it is" attitude to "it's the fix's fault"? Just wondering. A couple pages back someone drove both back to back and determined nothing major in their opinion.

At least on my 2016, if I put it into Sport-mode, the rpm stay in the sweet spot along with the transmission keeping everything there and in the correct gear for sweet throttle pull everywhere and I can get a speeding ticket in any gear and at any speed pretty easily-of course I could also do this in 1991 Toyota Corolla.

No trouble at all here with response or lag either in normal Drive mode or Sport-mode.
