Just received screenshot of cpo warranty from Hennessy. According to that previous cpo vehicles warranty on goes to 100k miles. So, we are getting screwed by PCNA again.

Hennessy is the problem, assuming you are in Atlanta. They took advantage of me on the purchase of 2 vehicles on the same day (my bad for letting my guard down, since they were the 2nd and 3rd vehicles I bought from them, I thought I could trust them). I only deal with Jim Ellis now.

Warranty extensions or CPO extensions - I believe that the "warranty for first three years from "new" is much more comphrhensive than the CPO so called warrant - Anyone here that can please clarify that?

I don't know about your case, but I know early on some dealers were taking advantage of the extended warranty and selling non-CPO vehicles as CPO. Basically it let them add the "cost" of the CPO for pure profit by praying on people's lack of knowledge of what was going on. Hopefully that wasn't your case and there is a simple misunderstanding.

Check your sales documents and copies of the ad if you have it. If they say CPO then go back to the dealer and request the documentation on when it was applied. If there is nothing in writing that it was marketed or sold as a CPO, then the best you can do is ask the dealer to prove it and hope they are cooperative.

I have been given verbal assurance by customer service at Porsche in Atlanta that my warranty is now for 8 years/125,000 miles. My service adviser at my dealership showed my an internal screen on his PC that also showed my CPO as 8 years from in- service date and 125,000 miles.
My screenshot only shows 6 years 100,000 miles. It shows cpo contract date sept 2013 with coverage till 2019 and 162000 k (100,000 miles).

There was never a CPO gift from POA, technically. We call it CPO because the terms of the gifted extended warranty is the same as the extended warranty for CPO cars. Here is the excerpt from the letter we got:

"As a sign of our respect for you as a Porsche customer, and our appreciation for your patience and loyalty while we clarify the issues and gather all the facts, we hope you will accept a 2-year Porsche Approved Limited Warranty that will extend the warranty coverage for your Cayenne Diesel up to 6 years or 100,000 miles from its original in-service date, whichever occurs first. Your Porsche Cayenne Diesel remains safe and roadworthy, and we hope this longer limited warranty coverage will allow you to continue to drive your Porsche with great confidence. You can find all the details about the Porsche Approved Limited Warranty at
http://www.porsche.com/usa/approvedused/porscheapproved/features/warranty/."

[edit: The issue some are discussing here is whether you attach this goodwill extra warranty to a CD that is already CPOed]

The CPO program is run through Porsche and is effectively the same coverage as the factory warranty.

It's the 3rd party "extended" warranties sold when new or on non-CPO cars that vary wildly and often aren't worth the paper they are printed on.

What is the difference between Brand New warrant and "Porsche Approved Limited Warranty" does the Limited Warranty cover much less than the New Warranty?

Thank you

Something is totally screwy with mine. The original in service date was June 2013. I purchased Sept 2013. The screenshot I received shows new warranty June 2013 - sept 2015. Preowned warranty (1) sept 2015- sept 2017 162k kilometers. Preowned warranty (2) sept 2017- 2019 no additional mileage.

My statement of certification I received when I purchased the vehicle shows cpo warranty end date June 13, 2019.

I think it covers the same as the cpo warranty. But, the vehicles just didn't go through the 111 point inspection.

No, not much less at all. It's pretty comprehensive.
