Agreed. I'm not going to even try to read between the lines any more.

Yes, I agree. All I know is when VW or their Attorney's have the word "BELIEVE" in their statements, it means absolutely nothing to me. How can I ever "BELIEVE" them. Hence the statement below:

Volkswagen attorney Robert Giuffra has said the company believes it can recall and fix the 3-liter vehicles without affecting their performance. They will say anything to save a buck.

From a twitter feed, the hearing was delayed for four hours because if "intense negotiations."

Hearing rescheduled for Monday.

More than enough to qualify as insubstantial progress from our perspective

The rumor mills are cranking out stories that the fix for the later cars is going to eat DEF at a frightening rate. The oil change interval was shortened to 5k already because Porsche didn’t want owners running low on fluid which can cause the car to shut itself off if you push it far enough. I dearly hope that this is not the case as I don’t fancy running around with spare pee canisters rattling around in the boot.

Judge told them back in October not to make plans.

In other words, this is infuriating.

Your assertions about the oil interval have been debunked, it has nothing to do with the DEF consumption. You can go through 2 OCIs without the warnings started, so the original 10k interval was still more than enough if that was the only time you got your refills done.

Additionally, if you were to ignore the more than adequate warnings to refill, it will not shut the car off. It will just not let you restart it once YOU shut it down.

Please stop trying to spread false information.

well, right now, you have 1000 miles when the low DEF warnings come on. Even if they double consumption, you would still have 500. Don't think there is any reason to carry extra on board.

Who on here with a CPO CD has received any verification of 125k warranty extension? I could not get any info from my local dealer so I called PCNA. They told me my warranty was up to 100k miles. They also told me my cpo wasn't listed as a cpo prior to the warranty extension. I contacted the dealer where I purchased (Hennessy) and they said it was a cpo. I am about fed up with PCNA, VAG.

I would expect they would adjust the warning appropriately since being able to burn through the warning level in less than a single tank would be a bad thing.

Default Re: CPO Warranty to 125,000

DOCDENT,

As per your post, I have not gotten anything in writing from PNA. However..

I have been given verbal assurance by customer service at Porsche in Atlanta that my warranty is now for 8 years/125,000 miles. My service adviser at my dealership showed my an internal screen on his PC that also showed my CPO as 8 years from in- service date and 125,000 miles.
