Went for a blast (subjective with DBL points and extensive law enforcement) up and down my old haunting grounds with my sidekick.
Much needed morning away - love this car!
The "Old Road" still a cracker drive - even at sedate speeds - I was a lunatic when i was younger clearly.....

For the first time in a month, took it for a short 20 mile drive in the hills above me.
Battery gave a good strong start. Been 25º overnight last month. Slightly warmer in the garage.
Love this car.

Could not drive on 3” of fresh powder…
…so I detailed. I’m in no way affiliated with Chemical Guys but I decided to give their Black Light product a try.

Didn’t really do much to the car, but I gave its living quarters a much needed remodel. The wife got me a TV for the garage for Christmas, and what started out as a Sunday afternoon project of hanging it on the wall turned out to be a two week long minor-renovation. Ran new electrical for two wall outlets, Wi-Fi smart light switch, recessed lights and T5 4500k LED light strips.
After moving the toolbox out of the way to hang the TV, I realized it was in need of a serious rehab. The garage is pretty small, but I’m able to work out of it when I need to. I also have a fold out workout cage on one wall, and I also hang out in there a lot with friends & neighbors. So it needs to function as a workshop, gym, and mancave. The philosophy of the build is to be able quickly move things around to transform it into the space I need to use it for.
Anyway, on with the pics.

997 Turbo is happy with its new pad
Wall cabinets for the far corner are on order. Ugly fridge is being replaced with a newer smaller unit to maximize the space. Currently debating on what to do with the floor. I fear that my desire for a bendpak flush mount scissor lift is going to lead me to demo’ing the floor and pouring a new slab. But… we’ll see.

@NSXavier Looking fantastic!
What a change!! and you have given me a GREAT idea for Jack Storage..... My cabinets are too low to store much more than some timber so they now sit out on the floor!
Just rack the box into the platforms = done!!
Also - love the wrap of the wall to look like brick!

What are your wheel specs, @Full Boost ?

new shoes arrived, finished ceramic coating them, now just waiting on some titanium lug bolts to mount these gorgeous things!

I swapped out the old chrome turbo S emblem for a basalt black turbo emblem and speed yellow S from Bumperplugs.com. A bit of a pain to get the old emblems off. I used dental floss and Goo Gone. Then used some Chemical Brothers polishing compound to clean everything up. It looks so much better now!
