I was gonna bid, but needed clarification on that cel lighting up in the last drive video. Owner never got back to me, but to be fair it was last minute.
If I was retired I'd make a job out of buying these and prettying them up for us OCD guys... you can re-alcantara most of the interior for less than 5k. Everything is relatively cheap to fix except big carbon bits on the RS like the wing and center console etc which can add up. But any $500 cryo clean spiffs the engine right up given the age of these cars very little is actually worn out. Even the worn bolster from the big guy that 'throws' himelf into his car... nearly new sports seats are only $5k on Rennlist if you have patience.
This RS I have was 'unsorted' when I got it, worn steering wheel, paint swirls, shifter rattled, speakers rattled, 02 sensors, cracked header, smelled funny, old PPF... I got the whole thing practically back to new for less than $2500 (ofc I don't count 'cool' things delivered to my office... like the Dundon).
I actually had a hard time convincing myself to just not go full "Leather Interior" after seeing how easy it was..... though I stuck to my build sheet because I never want the wrath of this thread "omg that Alcantara on the lower door panel is NOT original, he probably also did an engine swap!"

Pretty terrible listing on this 21k-mile frog .1 RS. The listing is so bad that it makes the whole thing seem kinda fishy. The car they are advertising has PCCB and full leather W/deviated green stitching. No price listed.

My suggestion for any buyer... if you like it and the body/paint is straight, buy the car... if you have physical access bring a $30 ODB2 scanner and check for any serious permanent faults.

I couldn’t say it better. As long as there is no mayor damage, you can easily bring back these cars to perfection. There aren’t many choices out there and the pristine ones are $$$$. I you are looking for a car to drive and enjoy as they are meant to, then don’t be so critical in minor imperfections that could easily be resolved with a little love and care. I have seen some rough samples that ended up in pristine condition after a good paint correction and leather treatment/repair.
Of course, not all of us can do that, but I do admire the fact that he drives his cars and enjoys them, no matter what it is (read F1).

Great eye but that is the TPMS light! He was running the car on the BBS, not the oem. I actually wound up winning that car. Owner seems great. Im very excited!
21k-mile Carrara White .2 GT3. PCCB, FAL, adaptive sport seats, DEM, and full leather. Priced at $186k. Seller states that this car has all original paint w/PPF, a clean DME, no prior accidents, and has a Sharkwerks muffler bypass.

If he can’t do it just put your own ad on Uship, since that’s what BATs broker does anyway.
