Car was forsale for 189k for a while on autotrader and owners website. Guess they’re going to try to auction it off now.

$189K seems like a good price for a 19K miles RS, but AC may be a deal breaker. It would be for me. It's a great looking RS. I love the reverse graphics here.

Was told by the dealer that the Frog in Bixby, OK is "under contract".

This does not surprise me. Frogs are sought after. Spring is coming and the market is waking up again. May be time to sell my Pumpkin in a month or two

If he can’t do it just put your own ad on Uship, since that’s what BATs broker does anyway.
I would offer just a few cautionary words about using shipping brokers. They sub out to the lowest bidder and this is usually reflected in the transporter's service and equipment. Shipping brokers are perfect if you are doing high volume where the cost of shipping impacts your bottom line or if you're simply shipping your minivan cross country. In those cases, the occasional dent, scratch, burned clutch, scraped underside doesn't matter. They may not be a good solution for someone buying their dream car, where any sort of damage would be much too bitter to offset the sweetness from paying a low shipping price. I have sold a lot of cars over the years, and am often amazed about what shows up to pick up one of my formed pride and joys. I still have pics of some of my sold 911s hanging off the back of "enclosed" trailers, bottoming out being driven onto open carriers, etc. When I buy, I always use a specialty carrier like Intercity where I know the equipment will have a proper lift gate and the driver cares about taking care of the merchandise. I'd rather pay an extra $1k for proper shipping than have my $100K+ car arrive damaged. Just something to consider as you're weighing the cost/benefit.

Here is how my Turbo arrived when I bought it and paid for proper shipping.

Here is how my Turbo left when buyer used a discount shipping broker. Literally hanging off the back (there was a shell that closed behind it on this "enclosed" transport)

No pic of my GTS arriving when I bought it, but here is one of it leaving after I sold it. I almost threw up watching it loaded.

I would echo this…AG Auto Transport Inc did both of my GT3s enclosed and Max was my driver for all of them. They took pics of every single panel, they documented every paint nick in their mobile app and sent it all to me prior to loading.

WP0AC299X7S793122

Sold for: $143k + buyers premium.

What did surprise me was the seller stating that 7.5mills of paint thickness on the hood is factory thickness. Not sure about that. I'm guessing that has been repainted. If the entire car was 6.5, then I could see that, but I wouldn't expect that much variation (4.5 to 7.5) across the same car. Maybe someone that is more familiar can chime in based on their experience.

Looks like the BAT seller lost money if they purchased it from the dealer who wanted $170k 2 months ago
edit Or BAT seller was that dealer.

Seller seems to be the dealer. I also saw it on AutoTrader then briefly on ebay asking for $160k

this happened on my car. doors and hood measure different with certain cheaper meters. aluminum versus steel. if you use a good, high quality meter, it will measure the same. if you use a cheap one that requires a reset between metal types, it'll read different. the method of measuring steel is different than aluminum. what you're really looking at is consistency side to side. measurement variation doesn't tell the whole story, especially on older cars. lots of factory anomalies that aren't uncommon.
