Agreed. DB & Daniel are great to work with — high quality stuff. One exception: use MACarbon for 997 dash trim pieces. MA orients the CF weave in a “diamond” orientation like the OEM pieces, and they silk screen the cup holder icon on the trim. DB doesn’t. The pieces from both companies match each other in color and weave size.

Hey Everyone,
Looking at upgrading to a GT3, I’ve agreed to terms for meteor grey .1 at UDrive. Curious to know if this was anyones GT3 on here or if anyone knows anything about it. Thanks.

Congrats on making the move to a GT3. They’re great cars. I did find a couple of pics on VINwiki. Also the previous owners instagram is here: https://www.instagram.com/tminusnyc/

Congratulations. Rare color. I hope you have it tied up with a deposit where it can't get sold out from under you. That has happened when people post here. This is where buyers lurk.

I can't stop laughing at the chrome wheels and the owner who thought it was a good idea.
Goes to show many GT cars are in the wrong hands.

Well everyone makes mistakes. Some people might like it. Not my cup of tea, but will refinishing cost much? I seem to recall once chromed it's a job to get them re-painted. The original color is not just a simple silver, either.

It shouldn't be bad... sand blasting is usually like $120 and the OEM paint/clear should be like another $200. Paint matching should be easy, the only issue is that it's almost impossible to match powder... which is usually preferred... sometimes you get lucky with a specific brands swatch like I was on the 34' chevy hubs... almost an exact match.
