Honest seller and a decent car but it is just overall very neglected. For me, i'd rather spend a bit more and get something a bit nicer. I can't justify the expense for something that feels like it was treated worse than I treat my daily drivers.

I did an extensive look through on the car, removed wheels, looked under it and snapped some photos. Anyone looking for more info can PM me.
At the very least did he have it detailed? Or was it just 'worn out'

Yup, a dealer will probably jump on it, clean it up nicely and will probably ask another $20k for it. I like the extra goodies that it has, specially the pinned coolant lines ($$$). There is another one for sale in the marketplace but they are asking around $135k. Good luck with your search. These are hard to come by, specially in pristine condition.

Does anyone have info on the high mile pumpkin at Grand Prix? If it got mentioned here when it was listed, I missed it. Carfax shows an accident and they sent me the pic of the damage which looks like nothing. Seems like it's been there a while.

I don't want pristine. I just want something more cared for. Tough car to clean up for a flip as most buyers are concerned about paintwork. If someone wants a track car, this is a good base.

Also not a Guards LSD, just an OEM rebuild.

Good examples seem to be selling quick even at these high prices as long as they aren’t insanely high.

These are me. Looks like there was typo on the mileage on my PCA which I'll fix shortly.

Car currently has 42,8XX miles.

The fee is reduced by 16.25% every year that the car has been registered in AZ. If you're buying a car that has been registered in AZ for a couple years, the fees dwindle down to almost nothing. But If the car has not been registered in AZ previously, you're starting from the new car assessed value and within 3 years, your total registration fees paid are probably greater than if you just paid sales tax on the purchase, like you do in most other states.
Sadly, $4.57 per $100 here in Northern Virginia (annual personal property tax on vehicles).

Lordy... I didn't even know something like that existed. In WI we pay sales tax upon initial registration of the vehicle (5% - 5.5% depending on county), then ~$100/yr for annual registration. So for us it's fairly painless to hang onto vehicles you don't drive too often.

how is the vehicle value derived for a used car in a private party transaction? How about a used dealer purchase? i'm assuming a new car purchase is fairly straight forward.

This sounds insanely high regardless. Does Maryland have type of tax as well?
