Good to see you back here Mr Adiar!
I too agree about working with Doug, I was very pleased with how it all went down when I bought the "lesser" RS that Mike owned. Of course I did not want a garage queen, I enjoy driving my cars and my blue one is in great shape even though it has 19K miles on it.

2011 RS. 12,700 miles. No price listed yet. WP0AC2A98BS783189
Really not a large production difference. 286 Gray Black for North America. 223 Carrara White. Must be loyalty. Keep us posted on the progress with yours.

For now just shipped the steering wheel off to Dallas custom steering wheel for new alcantara $350, the extra thick option made impossible to find a replacement and they say it will be OEM quality. Also have the engine Cryo clean appointment in a week.
As far as mods go I talked with Sharkwerks and they were $75k out the door for the 4.2. They also said their mods DO stack w/Dundons intake and headers i just need a custom tune. So I’ll start with the Dundon and make my decisions around tearing into the engine later.
I took off all the GMG bypass stuff, it sounds ok at high RPM… but imo the sound is cosmetic and not in the same league as Dundon headers.
So I’m putting a reinforced OE 991 Ti muffler w/the new 2.5” Dundon V2 headers released earlier this year. I contemplated the 3.0 and the Dundon loud Lifetime but the slight drop in low end torque decided the 2.5 was fine…it’s still good for 30HP
Ill prob do the airbox and intake next few years… but that 25HP is quit a bit more expensive than the just the headers.

i apologize in advance since it’s not relevant to this thread, but since I just bought it… it’s like almost a for sale item lol… for those of you that didn’t see I bought a high mileage RS and am now turning it into a low mileage RS

GP Motors has this Aqua Blue/Guards Red (has since been replaced with White Gold contrast) .2 RS with ~18k miles. Car was for sale at Porsche of Stratham back in 2016 and one user here passed on it after their due diligence. Car was then at Elite Autos a year ago <1k miles ago from the current mileage and it had a roll bar with completely toasted PCCB’s. Car was priced at $190k and sat at Elite Autos for 6+ months. Car then was bought by Isringhausen who then changed the original red graphics and accents to White Gold. Car was with Isringhausen for a few months and is now being flipped by GP motors. No price or photos listed as of yet by GP Motors.

What car used to look like with red contrast (car had 5k miles with still shot PCCB’s so I assume heavy track use early in its life): https://www.topgearporsche.com/inven...ar_imports_llc

Wait, wait, wait, wait. The DeMan kit is $30k all-in for the engine mods/tuning & gear set? That's the bargain of the century. Makes the GT4 much more appealing.
