I'll chime in & give some of my own local anecdotal evidence on PCCB's .... I've been in PCA for 25 yrs and at ~25 events per year attended, that's probably over 600 events in total. Granted I have only owned PCCB's on a GT3 for these past 4 years,... I can honestly say that nearly 100% of the people who speak to me (& btw, most are NOT Rennlisters), will say that PCCB is one thing they would LOVE to have. These are street only, low-key Porsche owners who use their cars casually & socially. They are not collectors, nor do they track. That demographic would clearly pay up. Whether they would "demand" PCCB's is another story. If they found a non-PCCB car with most all their desired spec options, I would guess they would let go of that demand. Most of those people would not care how expensive it would be if they had to replace a rotor due to a random rock chip (at least it would not factor in at purchase time).
my .02, is that we (Rennlisters) are such a small portion of the overall buying public.

^^^ that may be true,... and our experiences obviously differ since you would not need them on a future car..... but I can say with 100% certainty... now that I've owned them (& yes I also still own both pccb & steel on 2 different cars too) that I will never ever buy another newer Porsche without them. I may not be a good test case, since I already have experience with them,.... but I would definitely pay a big premium to have them if I found the perfect spec car. I would also probably pass on that perfect spec car if it did not have them.
But like I've said before, we here on RL are such a small % of the buying population. .... and even though I have said those words to many people who ask about them,... I seriously doubt any of those casual Porsche owners would take it to heart & thereby require them just because of some strangers (mine) comments. Experiencing them makes all the difference in the world.
WE DIGRESS ... on a cars for sale thread,.... but its not like we haven't done it before..... and maybe lurking readers will get some benefit when THEY are searching for their perfect car.

sold cheap? i assume that's sarcasm. it's consistent with the high water mark for recently sales, when adjusted for mileage. the last highest sale was 200 fewer miles in Arena Red at St. Moritz RM auction for $2,124,000 6 months ago.

GRP says they have a PTS RS 4.0 available. Assume it is this Meerblau example.

not that i found my car from this thread, but since it was mentioned in this thread and is now back from a minor "restoration" i figured i'd share a couple of pics. 2010 .2 GT3.
car came from Utah, purchased at Porsche Lehi. it was in pretty rough shape and dealer didn't disclose a lot as far as damaged interior carbon, which I was able to source OEM for a very good value, new, and had it properly plastic welded into place like factory, not screws like most people do.
brand new red tailights to replace the crappy tinted ones it came with. full paint correction, PPF, ceramic, and 70% tint (very light) all around, including windshield. (had crappy half hood peeling PPF before).
cleaned up beautifully, better than new.
