Grey/Red .2 RS with 24k miles. PCCB (since replaced with steel rotors) and FAL. $157k original MSRP. Asking price is $180k. Car has been talked about multiple times on this thread and from what I know about it, this is not a clean example.

The listing says it has a transferrable warranty good till 42k miles or 2023 what's that about? An off-brand warranty?
Also the previous owner has videos of the car that were uploaded April 2021 and took place in Newport Beach CA . Strange.

”Carfax pic shows damage to the rear back in Feb, 2014. Lots of pics showing paint readings at the 2 mil thickness (I'm not an expert on that aspect, but just seemed a couple mils low).
Add'l Notes: DME shows Qty 435 Range 1 over-revs (occurring at 289 hr point), ... Qty 95 Range 2,.... and Qty 21 Range 3,.... Qty 6 Range 4 (all Ranges 2-4 appear to have occurred at 285 hr mark - thus probably all the same downshift moment).
In my opinion nothing to worry about. Seems like a great car depending on what price it finishes at.
Strange to see that steering wheel in there though.”

Various plastic tirms and clips in frunk missing
PCCB with mismatched steelies
997.1 non GT steering wheel
Rub marks on headrest

Buyer should google the VIN there is so much information on this car.

Off brand warranty when you buy from dealer. But from ig guy bought the car in March and since the market is hot he’s trying to flip it. Kinda hard to do when car was in an accident but who knows some people will buy it anyways.

Sorry I must have misunderstood. The car was for sale in Oregon at Grand Prix in 2021 w/19k miles, bought just recently (April) by the guy on Instagram who is from Newport Beach and drove it 5k miles, and now is back up in Oregon for sale in June with 24k miles? That's quick. Everything was quick. The sales and the driving.

Great to hear. I like the 3.6. Only thing I’d change is the gearing. Also, wish you could marry the aero of the .2 with the engine of the .1 without doing too much to the look. You’ll get used to the Diff. It’s a trade off for going around a track at speed and learning how to manage/take advantage of the increased traction/deceleration. cgfen will show you how it works
Regarding the Oregon to Cali to Oregon RS, transport happens. So does a history that follows. It’s nothing more than a goodwill or “cherry” to offer regarding the warranty. As we should know, some have more exclusions than others. What remains a fact is that it is “built” into the cost of the vehicle.
Oh…for those that defend CNC as some have here, there are always a few that slip through the crack. Because you’re a buddy and get buddy treatment, doesn’t mean the rest do…. Glad I got cold feet on the White .2RS that was modded into a Racecar. San Francisco Motorsport had it prior.
