Exactly. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. That car has issues.

Do you know anything specific or are you just speculating like I am?

I think it was already mentioned but it does have a mileage inconsistency on the CarFax for one. Could be nothing, could be everything!

Very tidy profit if he gets $120K, which I am sure he will.

Pure Speculation aside from the small mileage discrep. My father used to buy his company trucks from the Kay family. The owner is **** I’ll just put it this way. Hire a private to accompany you and put it on their lift. Real easy and is perfectly acceptable. Money talks and I’m sure they’ve had their fair share of attention.

I took my 997.2 RS in for an oil change in March and they asked if they could buy it for $175k. I am not sure what they would offer now, but I assume more. The market is on fire lately.

IDK what **** means in this context but this is exactly what I proposed, or having it taken to a Porsche dealer for a PPI which I would pay for. Salesperson said he’d talk to his manager and get back to me. Maybe my money is a different color than everyone else’s or maybe it has already sold, but your father’s anecdotal experiences however many years ago aren’t really relevant. Either way, they can keep it.

LoL. You’re the one speculating unknowns. I didn’t give a timeframe on when my Father utilized them for their services.
Last, I’m not out a GT3. You are.

Pertinent advice these days no matter how relevant is trampled by the un-knowledgeable. Unbelievable!

As I stated, I followed your pertinent advice (prior to you posting it, as earth shattering as it was) and it made no difference. Maybe if my Daddy bought trucks from them I’d have more luck!

“Per the Brumos service records, Level 5 over revs at 433 hours and approximately 21,000 miles.”

Doug’s comment” That car has been for sale for over a year now. Screwed themselves by trying to overprice it. It was available before they bought it for <$135k, but that was back when the market wasn't very strong. It appeared to be a decent car but well used, I was going to make an offer on the car directly to the owner but we couldn't work out an in-person inspection.”

Grand Prix Motors must have bought it from Porsche Norwell

Why in the world would you say that? It's not like every GTx they've offered in the last year had stories or paintwork that weren't disclosed....
