Single or low # owner cars with no stories and that milage were 120-130k last year.

These cars are awesome drivers cars for enthusiasts and they did not make a bunch, I think they were undervalued for several years.

A 992 C2S with options is more expensive, go drive that back to back with 997 GT car and if you are a true ‘petrolhead’ you would say the 997 GT car should be worth 5x.

Unless you have money to burn, it's hard to justify that premium so the standard GT3 starts to look like a bargain and clean ones get snapped up quickly. There were only 715 .2 GT3s made for North America. How many clean ones do you think are left a decade later? There is essentially no inventory. All the really good ones trade hands privately.
I wanted the GT3, there are 3 RS cars that I see in my area and I preferred the more subtle GT3.

RS wing, sticker packs, wheels are a little shouty for my tastes.

Everyone is different.....

I thought it was 650 for North America?

You're not the only one. I think many, including myself, prefer the relatively more subtle GT3 and you give up nothing in terms of performance or driving enjoyment on the street.
715 was the total production for North America. 650 (or thereabouts) was USA only.

Oh my....if I was after a 997.2 GT3 that's the one for me. 4 creme cars total (and like Graphite Blue Metallic on 991.2, a sadly under-apppreciated color) and 1 of 2 with PCCB, and only one with bucket seats....pure perfection.

I'm trying to figure out a use case for this.

Its pretty easy to professionally fix the loud graphics and color scheme - if so choose. I prefer the RS this way

This one had the PCCB rotors replaced with steel ones and a half cage in the back. Definitely had seen some track time in the past.

I'm sure. Looks great. And my comment was by no means intended to suggest I don't like the RS. I simply saw no benefit of paying more to get an RS for my intended use (street) when I prefer the looks, in stock form, of the regular GT3.

I did do a search for the VIN, but couldn't find anything on this forum. Sorry if it's been posted or spoken about before.
It really seems that 997.2 cars are hard to come bye these days.

If you didn't tell me it wasn't Carrera White I would not have guessed it. His Instagram channel has 22 followers. Watching a guy shooting at a tree stump isn't my gig either.

I had a 2007 arctic silver GT3
then had a 2008 cobalt GT3

at no time did I ever not want an RS. ever.

if this is about stickers (graphics), they can be taken off easily. if someone prefers the taco wing to the carbon fiber RS wing - I'd be stunned and shocked. all of my wheels were the same, black

there are some of us street guys who are in the .2 camp, and love the .2 non-RS wing verses the erector set wing on the RS. Again, its personal subjective preference,... so not really worth digging on those of us street guys, who are also not "collector investors" and just prefer the subtle nature. But I also don't see too many people taking the RS wing off, just to replace with a .2 non-RS wing.

this is all crazy talk. But I also realize that getting back on FS track is tough when there's almost no inventory for sale. weird times.

Jeebus.....before I had seen his insta/youtube, I had sent an email to the dealer with some basic questions...got some pix back (appreciate the honesty of the salesman showing the damage, which also exists on the other taillight as well), and then a follow-up email car with the car already having a deposit on it.

creme may be rare,... but not a fan at all of the color for this vintage 911 (not bad on a G body),... but this just looks "dirty". Previous owners MO seems to be one of abuse hence the damage is not surprising.
