good research. Why isn’t the current seller disclosing this to his fellow members?

Airbag deployment can happen after 8 MPH hit. I don’t consider that a big deal. At the current asking price I believe to be a great deal for someone that wants to drive it and enjoy it instead of speculating and conserving it as a museum piece.

Currently there is no other 997.1 GT3 for sale at this price and there hasn’t been one for months.

I see it as almost a 10k discount. Still should be disclosed.

It is in the autotrader listing but would have been nice too mention here as well:

“The car had a minor front end accident in summer of 2016. The car was professionally repaired by a certified Porsche center. I had the entire tub checked for signs of damage from a Porsche specialist before buying. They were not able to find anything. I'm happy to send pictures of the tub along. 15,000+ miles and 5 years later there are no issues!”

I mentioned it before and absolutely tell everyone the history and current condition of the car. I would never attempt to withhold information from a potential buyer and am very straight forward about the car. It’s widely known information and I’m happy to share as many of the details as I can. The CarFax also includes these specifics (not sure why auto check doesn’t?). I have added that information to my post though for full transparency.

Like others have said, I think the price is fair given the history of the car. I don’t think there’s a GT3 for sale anywhere for under $110k right now.

The car was Racerx's and now it's yours? It should sell quick. Wonder how it would do on BAT?

GLWS and kudos for not trying to gouge the market.

VIN on that is WP0AC29907S792464.

For anyone interested, this was the same car at BMW Encinitas. Lots of info in this thread if you Google the VIN.

wow 190. Crazy stuff. Was not expecting that to happen. All it takes is a few bidders in the room and bam.

The car was purchased by a dude who doesn’t even know how to tell if the car has carbon ceramics just by looking…. Maybe that’s another sign of an inflated market currently

The strong sales numbers for these orange cars is not the best for the enthusiast. Good for me as I now think I got a deal. Just opened my paperwork and realized that sharkwerks removed the engine and did a slew of stuff to it.

Pinned lines
All new hoses
New seals
New clutch
Evoms tune
A bunch of Rennlline suspension goodies
Rennline engine mounts
Center delete, which might be getting changed out.

The clutch feels amazing. Now I know why it feels so good. Someone should have grabbed this, heck I should have grabbed this when it was 149,900. 20 some thousand dollars later it's mine.

I don't see anything suspect except it's a good deal. And they list it with 15,990 but it was listed at Carfax with 16,xxx

You gotta laugh at the Chevy dealer video. Click the link. Up to 3200 RPM triple injection!!

Previous for sale listing here
