Ah different gearing! I didn't realize that was another difference from the GT3 to the RS...learn something new every day

That's why I put the disclaimer in my post about the gearing

Thanks a bunch Peter! What does the purple and yellow mean? I assume green is gas and red is braking.

Brian it's a speed graph. Look in the bottom right hand corner and it will tell you the different speeds for each color

Bingo! THAT is the value of data.

Formulate a plan with two scenarios, drive as well and consistently three laps one way and three laps the other through the segment of the track you want to see if there's a difference, if any. Break the track up into the sector in the analysis software (making sure not to start the sector in a braking zone or compromise corner complex) and see!

Did that already. 3rd gear was faster in a non RS GT3. Peter doesn't listen

It's funny to see the difference

I used to late brake, stand car on nose then deal with an unbalanced car

Coaching has taught me less hard on the brakes, more momentum...trail the nose to turn it, on throttle with trailing throttle oversteer.

Got it. Thanks! Looks like changing up T8-10 is the key to faster times for me.

Not to breakup the excellent data analysis discussion, but thought I'd toss out some good news for possible better track management at COTA going forward:

Indy vet to lead F1 Austin track
