My whole LIFE revolves around deconstructing what a driver is doing (as influenced by his head, his knowledge both local and global, the resolution of his plan and the execution of this plan through proper technique) within the demonstrated and measured capabilities of his or her equipment and "fill in the blanks" to do better in the quickest, most expedient and data-supported way.
There is a desired, proper and easily measured model that drivers need to get close to to optimize their performance, as often as possible. If they do that, the lap times can be stunning, and without significant drama!
All tracks, all cars, all corners, every lap!

Yes, it is funny to see the focus on lap times when videos clearly show pathological allergies to apexes

Great way to put it!

Sorry about the drool I left on your car at the shop today. Mine is spending the night there with good company including yours and the VESS Grand-Am car. Not sure if you're around town, but you should have them show you how my car sounds now since parts of the exhaust came from your R.

When Steve gets off his *** and post my video, 2:27 is pretty easy to hit on ho ho. I did this on lap 2 in his car. Leaving a bit of margin for error since it wasn't my car and I don't know Hoosier that well
Usually my tbl is close to actual lap times...it was too far away, knowing I wasn't consistent at all
A day in Steve car a 2:25 is possible with minimal risk once I would figure out flow / grip
Was a nice end to a de career
Picked up my vintage race. Car yesterday , first race in three weeks

I'm back in IA, but Steven keeps my car at PPM and takes good care of it during the winter months between events. They have a great building shop setup there. Its darn near airline hanger size. They are installing their new proprietary monoball setup for me during the current break. Thinking MSR Cresson 3.1 in April will be my next event. You?

To all you guys chasing fastest time. Shane Lewis did a 2:17 lap in the 4th session Sunday in the 2005 997 Porsche Supercup. He was instructing during the MVP event, so he had minimal time driving the car and his first time on this track.

For race cars lap times, I think the slowest shoe in F1, a guy from somewhere in Asia is faster than this Lewis, but not even close to the fast Lewis, and the fast Lewis trails the fast Fezza drover.
No Video, No Data, No Valid.

Might have to change the picture size to make it work. That is usually my problem. Usually have to have my 16 year old help me otherwise it takes me a day to do this type of thing.
