Just rear bumper correct? Thats pretty normal. I would say paint work on a 10 year old car is relatively common (at least from what I saw when I was looking) and bumpers is really common.

Is this really worthy of posting? I thought this thread is dedicated for "DEALS" on the 997. Why waste time on posting crappy cars?

Dude, you need take time to read before snapping off. Jeffleept posted an ad for that car at $41,000. I found where that car had been damaged in the Houston flood to say not such at great deal at $41,000 and to show the car in the auto trader ad was likely a salvage title. Jeffleept wouldn’t have known that by the autotrader ad since the ad did not disclose the flood damage.

Considering this car, but price seems high considering minimal options. The fact that its a 4 adds no value to me

Doug H. - you're absolutely right, my apologizes.

Jeremy - nice car, the options it has is more than I can ask for.

Check out this 997.2, very basic but has decent mileage and very attractive price.

Minimal options really, no extended leather which really enhances the interior. Does have my minimum requirements if the price could be better

The one you linked is broken....its missing a pedal

Hmm that's strange when I click on it works. Try this link, if you think your car post is minimal, you're not going to like this one. It is however a 997.2 with PDK.

Not really commenting on the paintwork but the price, no adaptive seats, pccb's etc.

However a car is worth what someone is willing to pay, happy for the Seller he did well.

If everyone only posted the smokin deals, we'd see two posts per year. I happen to like browsing all the reasonably priced deal posts here, keeps it interesting.

I have not once seen a smokin deal on here. I myself have posted many decent 911 and wish everyone on here would participate and not just lurk. That would keep it more interesting.

The rarity of the .2 is really screwing this up. The sample size for studying prices is low, and a lot of .2 naturally aspirated cars are not priced where .1 turbos were 2 years ago. I am the first to admit that 997.2 C4S cars with the red band look spectacular but come on.

Otherwise, yes. No cylinder scoring threat. The DI engines were surprisingly trouble-free from the beginning. Not even Carbon buildup like many other manufacturers suffered.

It is also easier to get a car with details that are considered strong wanna-haves today, e.g. an aux audio input. IIRC there is a catch that a .2 S always comes with PASM or some variant of that. Some think the .1 engines sound better (no opinion here).
