i hear you on this one, when the phone is charged i don't bother to plug a cable to it when listing to tunes… there are some threads where owners have fished the iPhone power cable thru the AC vents (powered via a fuse double/splice hidden behind the pcm)… perhaps that would work for you?

Yup that would work. I my case I fish it out by the passenger footwell cig lighter. I would just need to know what to tap into on the back of the PCM. What about a fuse tap into the fuse on the back of the PCM (for iPhone cable or even for the tranzit itself?)

Thank you for this thread. It was very helpful when I installed my aux input this weekend.

Installed the Tranzit this morning using the tips from this thread. Everything seems to be working great Although I can hear static and an occasional 60hz thump coming from the speakers in between songs. It could be the frequency I'm tuned into (I kept it at the factory 88.1). I mounted the receiver in the lower area below and behind the radio cage. I mounted the microphone between the tach and the speedo gauges. I also electrical taped all connections that had exposed metal.

Overall I give this product a big thumbs ups!

Maybe your volume for the Bluetooth signal from your phone can be turned up and you're having to raise the volume so high on the PCM to compensate that you're able to hear the static.

I'm having an issue with mine and want to know if anyone else is.

Out of the "Blu" (haha) the song that is playing doesn't show up on the PCM or the dash any longer. It shows its connect to my phone but it frozen on the same of a same that played weeks ago.

I'm wondering if I need to reset the Transit unit?

I removed all phones from it and reinstalled them but no change.

Any ideas?

What about regular radio songs ? Does the RDS work properly then?

guys need some help. I would like to remove my PCM to do the Tranzit install but not sure how to get the 12v panel off. Every video I have watched shows carpet with a screw on this side and I don't have that.

Please help

I haven't seen this set up before... Try to gently pry the bottom panel off maybe?

Hello!

You have a cab like me with the Bose sub.

Pull out the "plastic vent" for the Subwoofer. Inside you will find the screw.
