Got my unit installed a few days ago. I´m very happy with the result as both music streaming and phone calls works flawless (Iphone 6). Thanks to the OP for the tip and very nice write up

Thanks for the OP for a great DIY post. I just installed mine and I'm very happy with it. Here are some learnings from my install:
As Juan noted, this is the best video available for PCM removal (the first 7 minutes). It goes into great detail and even has a helpful tip on removing the trim pieces without breaking the upper clip! That said, I ended up breaking the upper clip on the driver side because I got impatient
I ended up just stuffing the mic into the cavity above the driver side foot well and below the steering wheel. It's an invisible install with *good enough* sound. I made a few test calls and the person I was talking to said it's "passable". I figured the trade-off of having it completely out of sight was good for me since I rarely take phone calls anyway.
Everything else about the install was just as the OP said. The link posted for the antenna adapter still works too even after all these years.
My only problem is that I lost FM signal to some of the local radio stations. I haven't bothered to troubleshoot as I don't care and it's worth the trade-off of having Bluetooth.
Thanks again to the OP!

Here is a video that I found pretty clear on the removal of the PCM

Selling my TranzlT Blu HF system for $55 with antenna adapter to fit 997 PCM unit. Works very well but just upgraded to LAPower Bluetooth unit. Will cover cost of sending Priority Mail in US only. PM me if interested.

Installed mine today. So far so good. Haven't taken calls yet but the music streaming worked perfectly and paired up quick and easy.
Tools required: 5mm allen, 7mm wrench, t30 and t15 bit screw driver, x-acto knife to cut wiring, electrical tape.

Hi All, Let me know if anyone wants my Trazit Blu...just need to cover shipping. It worked well in my 997 and I'm letting it go as I've sold the car and removed it before doing so.
