Sub-optimal conditions but no garage queens here!
My friend’s SBM 991GTS, such a fantastic spec

That`s how a crankshaft sensor looks like after 284000mls (455000km). Symptoms: occasionally stalling at low revs, CEL and sometimes misfire especially at higher revs, after some minutes warmstart problems (three or four attempts necessary) and higher fuel consumption. Additionally 2x 10mm spacers at the rear axle plus Continental winter tires with Lobsters. Test drive after work: tutto bene as may italian neighbor says.
And, as always: sorry for the bad rest of my school english.;-)

Did you get it installed or did you do it? I noticed some vendors including suncoast sell aftermarket DVD installation kit and was wondering if it's something that is required for all aftermarket DVD and if it's something I can do by reading instruction. Thanks.

I did it. Removed the Climate control , cubby and sport button trims and then took out the buttons, sanded all pieces with 320 grit paper, just enough to scuff it up a lot, get rid of the shiny surface. Then used SEM adhesion promoter followed by 12 LIGHT coats of SEM 39143 trim spray. Came out really nice and flat. And no, I did not sand between coats. Way too lazy for that ****. Oh, and on the climate control part, the top row of buttons have a tiny "glass" tube in each button area to allow light to pass through so you can tell if the button is "on" - you can either cover all those openings which most people do or just scrape the paint off later with a tiny flathead screwdriver.

Just a small detail - but over time, those detail touches add up.
So much nicer than the hard black plastic ones that came on the car...

hah! Fugging LEV!!!!!!! I’m sure you saw my post. Got my center console and center stack leather trim from that MFer! He does fantastic work! And super quick shipping as well. $450 is so much better than exclusive options. They charge more than double than anyone else and they want the core returned. And from the pics I’ve seen, Lev does better work.
