Massive changes. Found some leather parts on eBay. Got the side parts of the dash and the overhead area. Ordered the umbrella for the passenger side sill.
Hi Thomas - like a panty raid on a retirement home, it all depends.
How many miles?
What year?
Existing warranty ?
Location can also be a factor. Some will write sight unseen - some require inspection based on the above.
For most people it may not be a viable option or an option at all.
There are two well known Fidelity sellers for Rennlist
Can't be repeated often enough for those who consider an extended warranty. Buy it before the factory warranty expires. Big savings. And check on the mileage turnover points. I don't know the numbers or calculations they use but the difference between 39,900 miles and $40,000 miles just as an example can translate to thousands of $$. Again, don't know what metrics they use but miles = big difference in price. For Fidelity, it seems like they price their policies by mile "zones". In other words, the policy doesn't get more expensive for each mile you put on the car but instead gets more expensive as you cross a certain threshold.
So I found a hard top that was near where a family member lives at a dirt cheap price. I checked out the photos and it looked like a pretty close match to my paint color...but at the price I paid I was expecting to have it repainted. Paid the guy sight unseen (family member has no savvy when it comes to cars) and he delivered it without charge. A few weeks go by and family member loads it in their pickup and drives over for a visit and delivers it to me, and takes 5 minutes to install. Result is that the 1999 Ocean Blue Metallic is virtually a perfect match for the 2010 Dark Blue Metallic. And no, the back glass is not cracked. That is a reflection from the garage door opener. Really cool that I lucked into this and can switch things around when I want to

The mileage delineations I've had relayed to me are
Took the car to the shop for a simple oil change & trans fluid change. Well it turns out not so simple after all. Got an email that there was an oil leak.
Got new RMS seal & IMS seal. Had the clutch done while they were at it. It was due anyway.
Finally pick her up and $3800 lighter on the wallet...
The shop charged you $4k and didn't clean off all the oil and stuck on crap from the leaking RMS. That's crappy and I'd let them know that.
Had my shop put these on finally. Had stock bilsteins with techart lower springs (previous owner) and the stock shocks with lowered springs was rough on them and one was starting to leak after 70kms
night and day difference from previous setup just rolls like on rails through fast roads and no jarring bounce on the pot holes I get here in Calgary city roads. Have them setup level 10 of 20 might go softer come winter but loving this setup right now. Whole car feels so much tighter and planted.

I didn't know that was even possible. I might have to start looking for one.
They did clean it. That was a before pic. I have some degreaser will try to clean it more this coming weekend.
Oh great, glad to hear it and that's much better. Much of that stuff down there is aluminum so be careful with which degreaser products you use as they should be aluminum safe.
