Gearbox fluid change. Ran a hose from the engine compartment into the fill plug.
Sharkwerks centre muffler bypass goes on next weekend
I'm in the process of changing out the transmission fluid but need to find a lift. Did you had to put your car on stands or lift when you did this job?

I did it on jackpoint jackstands. Tight but do-able. Creeper won't fit though, you gotta wriggle in and out.
Several months in the making.... I bought a 997.2 (or box tee or whatever) 3 spoke steering wheel from a forum member a few months back. It was a little beat up so I took the airbag, sanded the gouges out and refinished with vinyl paint... finished in a sandstone texture (it’s ok, not fully happy), then I recently scored a gray wheel BNIB off eBay for $180!!!!! Definitely someone getting rid of their Dads Pcar junk and didn’t know. Now tonight, had beers and Transformers going in the garage and did the swap. It’s a bit thinner than the stock turbo wheel... but it feels classy and lighter (purely aesthetic).
Bought my 2010 C4S in January with 46k miles but the interior looked more like 100k miles. Swapped in an Alcantara console and brake handle. Have a meteor gray painted PDK console in the mail from bumper plugs. Also picked up a heated PDK steering wheel from a 991. Taking to the dealer to get the heat activated next week.
Since purchasing also added HREs P40s, clear side markers, new floor mats and had the headlights restored.

I haven't had the nerve to use jack stands yet but at this rate of trying to find a lift i might have to just go that route. Did you jack the rear first and then put the jack stand in the front? How high did you have the jack stand?

The jackpoints are only about 13-14 inches high, so about that. Buy a set of Raceramps wheel cribs -- the bargain is getting the 10 inch stackable (so a set of four 5" ramps - Amazon), so you can put 5 inches under all 4 wheels...Much safer than jackstands alone. The 5" cribs under the wheels are nearly the same height as jackpoints so that also works if you need to have wheels off work.
Make sure the car is level for changing the transmission fluid.

I only have 1 floor jack, 2 jack stand and a pair of ramps. Could I use the ramps on the front wheels, and jack up the rears and use the jack stands for the rear? If the front ramps are too low I can add wood blocks underneath the ramps to make it higher if needed. What do you think?

How high do your jack and jackstands go? I was in the same boat as you and I opted to buy four Esco 10498 jackstands:

Good jack stands and/or cribbing are the safest way to go. I use jack stands in my restoration work for frames, etc., but cribbing is by far the best solution.
This got the car up in the air, level, and with plenty of room for me to get underneath. I put extra wheels/tires under each end just in case:
Could you explain the sequence between where you jack & place the stands to get it on all 4 stands? I can easily jack the car on one side (left/right), but not the entire front or back at once. I have Jackpoint stands, but am just curious how you did this with 4 regular jack stands.

Basically jack up right rear, put jackstand under right front, jack up right rear using the suspension mount point, put jackstand under right rear. Do the same on the other side. The tricky part:
For me, the $1000 for the QuickJack was worth it. If I'm going under the car I'm not taking any chances. It's a 20 year investment, so I've mentally amortized the cost over that time period.
