Took my car for a long drive yesterday. Assisted hubby in first oil change since I've had the car. Must say this was the EASIEST oil change of all of our cars. Washed car, cleaned wheels, clayed and zainoed the full front clip in anticipation of PPF wrap this week. The car looks great! Glad that spring is almost here.

Since it was a sunny 72 degree day, I washed mine. Then I drove to the library to return some books and took a picture of it before it gets dirty again. I'm so happy Spring is here!

Tinted the glass today. 40% ceramic. You can see the difference in the rear pick here. Driver's door is done and passenger door is not obviously.

Also, had them add a taillight LAMIN-X tint kit I received for free from a buddy. Figured if I didn't like it I could just remove it. Turns out I love it. Very subtle and lessens the stark red contrasting with the black and clear on the rest of the car.

Installed my Fister mufflers. Took the long route. Removed the bumper cover, bumpers, heat shields, etc. Took longer than I expected. Probably 3 hours. Did it on jack stands with the rear wheels off. The longest single job was getting the three nuts off the muffler bracket with about a quarter turn at a time for each nut. Probably added up to roughly an hour for removal and installation of those 6 nuts.

Good to know as I plan on doing similar once my parts arrive. Any thoughts on a tool that might help with access to the nuts?

I did a full cat back swap with an FVD system, but this is the thread i used as my guide. See post #3. Open ratchet was the trick for me on that top bolt. I didn't have any trouble with it and i too took off the bumper and heat shields.

User Justatoy on 6speedonline generously offered this TechArt rear diffuser for free to anyone who would pick it up. I wasn't local, so that made things tricky. But he finally agreed to help me out and ship it to me. THANK YOU JUSTATOY !!!!

The diffuser came in today, and I couldnt resist a test fit. I propped it up with a couple boxes (that I photoshopped out).

It looks amazing !!! Such a small change, but has great visual impact IMHO.

BEFORE

AFTER

The bottom lip is painted gloss black. All pics I have seen have the bottom lip painted body color. But it looks perfect in gloss black, so Im going to leave it that way.

So happy with this, so another big thanks to Justatoy for his generosity !!!

Open ratchet? Well that's pretty standard and I have a full SAE and metric set so I'll be good then. Thanks for the tip.
