Delivered some pizzas in style!
T
(wife buys pizza for her crew on Fridays; likely to assuage her guilt over having project meetings on Friday afternoons!).

assuming this was done all at once, it must feel significantly more powerful - those are big numbers! 997.1?
cheers.

Drove it to the Petit le Mans at Road Atlanta Friday and Saturday of this weekend.

Me and the little man in front of 911 number 911

As the winning Prototype cars took the checkered flag, they launched fireworks. The white blob heading down the hill into the final turn is the winning 911 in the GTLM class. I need to take my DSLR with me next year as this would have been a great shot if done with something other than my cell phone camera.

Drove to Indiana for the pumpkin run at Putnam. So far horrible.. it's 40 degrees, they only have warm beer at the gas stations and my hotel just was evacuated for a fire...

Sure hope tomorrow is better.

Went for a spirited drive in the morning to warm up the oil. Came home and did my first oil change. All went smoothly, felt like I was pouring new oil in forever (8.6 quarts). Felt nice to DIY and save a few bucks.

Went on a nice long, spirited drive with 40 of my friends from GGR-PCA, and turned 70k miles 2 miles from the end of the drive.

The Bridgestones stuck fine, quieter now that there's rubber on the carcass.

As I had mentioned, the orange FF mounts do not introduce appreciable increased NVH. I do note a bit more idle shake, and a deeper exhaust note, which I like. There is some gear whine when coming to a slow stop. Shifts are softer.

All good!!

(BTW, the wife gave me s..t for taking that photo on the move. She noted the tach and 50 mph readout. My car-gal!!)
