^Cool. I decided to go over 60K in style. Barbecue run. 400 + mile round trip. My belly is full. Too full. But, otherwise, a great day in the 997.2 S. Didn't skip a beat. Saw two other Porsches of note. Really nice looking blue Cayman S. Not sure which exact shade of now. Silver 996 went whizzing past me near Waco. Actually, saw it twice. Next time was when it was pulled over by the popo in some small town.

I used a red sharpie paint market with a fine point tip...traced over the pattern, waited for it to dry, & then used a tissue with finger nail polish remover to remove the excess on the top

Not sure why the pictures didn’t post yesterday, here is the end result

I haven’t gotten to drive it yet, suppose to rain pretty hard today 😭

Nice work and thanks for the tip on the paint markers. I've wanted to do the shift pattern in my 911 and 928 and a strut tower brace under the hood with a 928 Motorsports logo on it for a while. Just ordered the full color gamut 15 marker set to give it a go.

If your feet is wide like mine, it is easy to hit the throttle while you brake when you are not toe and heeling due to the throttle side-plates. When I first got my car (used) it came with these pedals and gave me quite a scare when I tried braking and inadvertently hit the throttle simultaneously. You might not have the same problem, but for my wide feet the brake and throttle pedals are just too close to each other.

I replaced the serpentine belt and motor mounts on my '09 C2 Cabrio with 75k miles. The placebo effect is strong with this job. It feels like my car shifts more smoothly and clunks less over bumps.
The old mounts were definitely stretched versus the new ones, but they weren't completely blown out like I've seen in some pics on the forum. The job was definitely worth doing.
Of course, while I was at it, I noticed that my brake pads were getting near the end of their lives. Mo money.

I'm certain I picked up 50hp though.
