Should have clear bra the front... now respray and clear bra to save yourself money.
My entire front end is clear bra.. makes me so happy not to worry about rock chips at all. Cheaper to replace bra when needed many years later than respray. I got all original no rock chip front end![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

awesome!
I noticed the passenger seat in my 997.1 was a little loose. I was able to rock it front/back about a 1/4". It bothered me and I'm OCD, so I unbolted the seat to take a look. I pulled the long plastic trim piece off (raise the seat all the way and remove 3 small torx screws - 1 is visible from the outside, 2 are from the inside). I randomly checked this bolt and it was loose (T-30 if I recall). Tightened it up and voila, no more loose seat.

I drove 500 miles to Morgantown WV and back to DC this week, drove to a wheel shop and back on Saturday near BWI, country drive in AA county Sunday....all total I did not see a single 911 on the road, besides me. In fact I never see them, now I only drive mostly for fun on weekends, but once again. Nothing. Back to thread, I'm getting my clutch lockout switched replaced this week, mine is getting a bit wonky.

I am in DC and see them often...
What did i do to my 997 today? I fixed six scratches i put in the back area with the garage door by mistake. It was my first time working on scratches and i was quite amazed at the result. Had to do a 3000grit wetsand super light and carefully, then compound by hand and polish by hand...voila, no more scratches and paint looks awesome! Paintwork is nerve wracking though, i must say.

I don't drive each day, so perhaps thats why I never see them out in DC. I mostly only drive on weekends for fun. I can take you guys on a long drive to Gettysburg and back loop, 210 miles up to the mountains and back. There is a Pa State road ....called....you guessed it, Rt 997 thats fun.
