Actually, Dennis, I was just thinking it's the opposite of your lovely 911. Beige (actually, avorio) on the outside and brown (cioccolata) on the inside!
Smorgasbord of interior and exterior pics. Plus, one of my dog, just because.

Nice! I'd love to see that in person. I don't think I've ever seen that combo.

Thank you! My wife gets all the credit for the color choices. She saw a 612 in avorio/ciocoalata combo, and fell in love. So, when this Cali popped up on Cars.com, she said to stop farting around and buy it. Whatcha gonna do when the wife says you have to buy a Ferrari?
I love it. It's low key and the interior looks classy as heck with the contrasting, diamond stitching. The sound is awesome, the acceleration is out of this world, and since it's a GT, the driving diffs make me appreciate my 997.2S even more.
No mods. Still under warranty! I'm also a bit of a purist. Am toying with eventually moving to black wheels (yeah, I know, it's a bit over-done), carbon shields and some other CF bits to the exterior. Gotta find a kindly Photo Shop expert to help me visualize...T

I'm pretty sure that tomc is the only guy on earth who's wife tells him to "stop farting around and buy it" when looking at a Ferrari. Where did you find such a fine women?

OK, back on topic. Since I made the "cardinal sin" of driving my 997.2S in the rain, I had to clean the unicorn. I'm not OCD, but it really bugs me to see it filthy. Went over 43+K miles. Just did the 40K service in spring, and then it was a couple of hundred miles short of 40K IIRC...T

OK, enough of this prattling, more heroic tales of our mighty 997 steeds. Here is the unicorn after a nice drive up around St. Jo, Texas from a few weeks ago. North Texas ain't the Rockies, but if you get up north, near the Red River, you do get a bit of elevation change on the back roads. Nice place to drive. Popo are not ubiquitous, traffic light, sight lines good...T

Thanks! I'm not especially concerned about people not liking cabriolets. I like it, and that's what matters. The same is true for brown. That's the beauty of Porsches; there's a butt for every seat. The cab top is cocoa brown and the interior is sand beige. I attached a few more photos from earlier today.

With summer nearly over & kids back to school soon, I started the modding again
I attempted, & have to say failed to tint the LEDs on my soon to be installed turbo front bumper. Man this is harder than it looks.
When I finally thought that I had got it looking good, on closer inspection I could see all my finger marks on the inside of the film and fine lines, so off it came & I think I will be taking them to an expert!
Here is half way through my attempt as a comparison to how they will look, a sort of before & how not to do it after!

Changed out the engine belt, two pulleys and tensioner pulley. Not hard at all, just need a 24mm for the tensioner, 15mm for the nut behind it and then some external tore E12 and E14 for the two pulleys. Blue loctite on the threads and all done. An hour.
Only thing I didn't do was replace the 15mm bolt on the tensioner. You can't remove it without undoing the tensioner arm that requires removal of various engine components.
