Talking Took Mom to the Dr

... with her walker wedged in between the roll bar and the front seats. I am sure we were quite the sight flying down the freeway. "What kind of bar is that with the tennis ***** on the ends?"

Default added Carerra side decal

This weekend I added side "Carrera S" decals. Got the left one on the left side and the right one on the right side this time. These guys have a great product and were very helpful. I recommend them. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer: http://carreradecals.com/collections/full-catalogue

Changed the serpentine belt. Easiest belt to access ever! 45 minutes even though I had to remove airbox twice.

Finally swapped to my summer tires (S04's) on wider 4S rims. Also 5mm front spacers. 4s rims push the tires out 16mm in the back and with the wider front they really improve the look.

Looks good. I like it.

I think that decal looks good on dark cars. Not sure that decal will work on my Silver car.

Installed the summer wheels and gave the car a wash...

And yes, that is snow in the background. I probably should have waited a couple more weeks to install the summers, but what the hell

Default US129 Dragon run

Been on the Dragon many times with my Mini Cooper S and my wife's Audi S5 but this is our first trip with the Carrera. We had a ball and I got to know how she handles when it's insanely tight. 318 turns in about 11 miles. Car handled like a dream but I was careful to not push it on my first run ... better to take some time and know the ins and outs of the 911 - it's not a Mini, that's for sure! As you know if you travel the Dragon on the weekends there will be 3 -5 full time photographers along the route - these are some of the pics they took.

In regards to the wash in the stall, aren't those wash attachment abrasive from use?
