Bought this lip months ago and took an hour today to mount. It's polyurethane so I'm hoping she'll survive the roads and driveways. I think it flows well with the lines of the car and front bumper.

It's a GT3TEK polyurethane lip. Several examples of the lip running around on rennlisters' 997s. I think I picked this up during one of GT3TEK's lip specials for $299. He's local to me so I just drove on down and picked it up. Includes all mounting hardware and adhesive.

I did my first oil change since the Sharkwerks rebuild. 9 quarts of DT50 and a new OEM filter. Took about an hour, all told, working methodically and over-cautiously.

Will do thanks for the advice......

I changed my Coils, Spark Plugs and added a 200 Cell Cats X-Pipe to my PSE exhaust.
Car has approx. 50,000 kms (31,000 miles).

Make sure you change those coils folks!
I removed 5 coils and thought they didn't look too bad (very minor hair line cracks). Removed the last coil and damn.
Can you guess from the pic below which coil was bad? (No CEL/misfires).

Also just an FYI, I had ordered the BERU coils (Older version part # 997-602-104-00) and to my surprise, received the newer thicker version with the longer bolts.
What's weird is the box of the coils had the original part # as well and not the newer part number 997-602-104-02.

And the 200 cell cats x-pipe....wow! Much improved higher end power and a nice sporty scream.
Completed everything myself, a little tough completing all this without a lift but manageable.

Do you have the part number for the longer coil bolts as well?

The longer bolts came with the new coils. No need to purchase them separately.

I tried to replace my spark plugs and coils. I wasted 1.5 hours trying to remove one muffler (when I did my Gundo hack it took 30 min each side)...even with PB rust penetrator.

I finally gave up and had my Indy do it

Same here with coils, mine didn't look bad but there were cracks.

Loaded "Moby" on a truck, and his German-speaking friend, "Rudy" the Golf R daily driver. Next stop Massachusetts!

Garage flooring installer scheduled, 4-post lift ordered, posters packed. Finally, a real garage!

I like taking pictures when I reach milestone-type mileage numbers, like 10K, 25K, 50K, etc. Today, I realized that I was going to reach 55,555 on my drive home from work, so I made sure I paid close attention to the odometer, to make sure I would be able to snap a photo when I reached 55,555. It happened just as I pulled up to a red stoplight. Perfect. So, I snapped a photo. Here it is. The trip meter showing 222.2 was pure coincidence, but I think it's kinda cool. I guess I'm a bit of a number-geek!

What are the odds of lucking into this?
