I bought my baby window tint all the way around - sans windshield.

Pics? Btw, there are some good clear, ceramic windshield films if you want to further protect your interior. I have Huper Optik on the windshield of my 997.2S...T

Haven't "done" it yet, but just ordered non-pumpkin side markers this week. And I wanted to post a picture.

How was the CV Boot Install? I need to do this on mine too. I just ordered the parts from Pelican.

Total detailing after driving 1400 kilometres. Washing, waxing, wheel and calliper cleaning, leather cleaning and creaming, engine bay cleaning and finally rubber and plastic refurbishment.

It's a pleasure to work on these cars. The whole cleaning process is part of what gets me addicted to these cars.

And yes - I just ordered the silicone cold air intake tube and resonator plug from Design911.com.

Just listen to this induction noise at 2 minutes 50 seconds. All that my 997 is missing right now

My left hand had an argument with my table saw on 4 July. I pulled the under body panels and removed the axle nut and inner CV connecting bolts before accepting that I would need two hands to get the axle out. I reluctantly aborted the the job, reassembled the pieces, and took it to an Indie who charged me 3.5 hours of labor.

He told me he took the inner CV joint of of the axle (don't lose the ball bearings) and was able to maneuver the axle through the center of the car. It was tight but doable.

It will definitely require both hands.

Post pics of the job, please. Good luck!!!

I threw new wheels, spacers, springs, studs, tune, motor mounts and a GT3Tek lip on my new (to me) 09 C2. Rides great, feels good, and I have always loved the look of factory S2 wheels.

After driving it home from Phoenix last week, I will do a write up on the road trip and the mods so far. Coming from BMW land, this car is everything an m3 wants to be x1000.

Had the CF on my new Sport Bucket seats XPEL wrapped and junior tested them out. I think I'll need a smaller harness for him.

First post. First Porsche, a 2008 997.1 C2S.

I had a Pioneer AVH-4200 installed, along with a new 5.1 amp. This integrated into the Bose speaker system, but now I have BT connectivity, USB, Car Play, and more power to the stock speakers (which don't sound too shabby now).

Do Prius drivers wake up early on weekends for a fun drive? I found myself wondering about that this morning! Temps in the low - mid 70s. Crazy nice for Texas. So, I decided to hit the road & explore a newly discovered road that the wife and I drove yesterday in the Cali. But this time with the Porsche! Very twisty. Decent elevation changes for this part of Texas...T

I took the "blue monster" to Austin Cars and Coffee this morning. Hung out with some of its forebears. I've also included a picture of the car it wants to be when it grows up.
