I cleaned/conditioned the seats with Leatherique and then coated them with Gyeon leather coat.

Then I installed a new sport paddle wheel, and threw the clear indicators on.

Finally, I swapped the 20" Techarts that came with the car with some 997.1 Turbo wheels. I only broke one tool, so that's a plus in my book!

Having an Alpine INE-W967HD receiver and rear camera installed as I type, picking it up later today. Also ordered a Function First Shift ****, black shaft, aluminum head with red lettering. Just picked up the car April 15th (in honor of paying my taxes) and am already in love, not that i'm surprised. Black on black, 2009, Carrera S, manual, 23K miles.

Last week hard wired the Valentine One and installed Blend Mount bracket.

ATSR - great pics.

For me, tint today. Tomorrow, off for a bit of front end work and exhaust/cold air intake work.

Agreed! In the 2+ years of owning my 997.2S, the biggest surprise is how great a road trip vehicle it is. Comfortable. Just enough modern conveniences - ventilated seats for a quick cool off from the Texas heat, seat warmer for the cranky middle age back, cruise control for those long stretches of Texas highway. Did a 500 mile round trip today, BBQ run. Car was a champ. Love these cars must more and more every day...T

Finally finished up the black with silver metalizer dip. I wasn't sure what color wheels I want to go with.. so plasti-dipping the wheels is a great way to figure it out.

Seems like the dark wheels and Dectane LED's really bring out the GT Silver.

I bet. Probably gets nice and moist down in your neck of the woods during summer. My wife insisted. As usual, she was right. Keeps her happy, so we use the Porsche more often. That makes me happy. Marital win-win!

Looks great. What's the process and how long does it last?

Thanks. The color turned out better than expected. Look up tutorials on youtube.. there are plenty of them. This was my first time applying it and I didn't go thick enough on 2 wheels so will need to redo it.

I love it!
Mine is Arctic silver and I've been going back and forth on dark rims. I have OE lobster forks, so don't think they would look as good as yours. This may be my next project after I get the turbo bumper and depo taillight installed.

Did you do this on or off the car? Also, did you mask the inside of the wheel or apply the dip all they way back?

Nice job.

Finally installed the clear lens front markers. Wasn't sure I would like them but after seeing them against the aqua blue I do like them ! Finished all the 40k tasks. By far PDK flush was the most work.

I used the plastic bag method. Masking isn't a good method as the dip can bond to it. The overspray cleans off quite easily. I'm sure it takes some practice to get good at it but it's somewhat fun and relatively inexpensive. A trigger would be handy too and you fingers do get tired.
