Regardless, it turned out nice, IMHO. I'm very happy...
looks good! Paper though, ****, I'm surprised!

Swapped out my front pads. The last session at the track chewed through these much faster than expected...

Best friend is in town, so took him out with me on my weekend drive. Headed out on my fave back roads, pulled over and threw him the keys, let him get his feet wet, so to speak, then hit the Sport Plus button, or as it is now known, The Holy Crap button. There Is NO Substitute!

Drove around with windows down and listen to Hair Nation on XM. Got good runs on my favorite roads too.

Added custom (well I made them myself) rad guards. Was going to plastic dip them black but liked the silver so left them. Took a while to clean out all the crap that was lodged in there

Very nice. Did you take the front bumper off to clean all the gunk that accumulates in front of the radiator? Or, use a vacuum or something?

How do you keep them in place? I tried to do the same thing but couldn't find a way to keep the mesh from moving backwards. Also, where did you get the mesh?

Look closely and you can see the black cable ties that are wrapped around the black fins. It blends in so well you can barely see it even when looking for it

there a couple of threads on this DIY

I got the mesh from Home Depot or Rona's (Canada). Its just metal gutter guards - $10
