No 305 widths yet. Still shows them on back order.

Yup. Had to go with Bridgestone S-04s instead. Couldn't wait any longer. Like them a lot. Smooth and sticky. That said, I'd be quite annoyed if the MPSS were suddenly available in 305 widths now.

Default Just Ducky

Finally got around to painting, installing and putting the finishing touches on my Ducktail spoiler installation. I can't believe how much it transformed the car to something special and keeping running out to the garage to look at it.

That looks great! Is that the Getty Sport Classic 997.2 duck tail? If so, how's the fit, the quality, etc.? More details, please! Cheers.

Installed the 997 Cup Car wheel.

Installation was fairly straightforward on the 997.2. There are some major differences in the wiring harness from the 997.1 which presented a challenge. I successfully jumped the airbag and the horn works just as before. The smaller radius certainly adds the feeling of weight to steering. Turn-in takes (slightly) more effort but the feedback seems more precise which I can't explain and may be in my head.

Unfortunately, I tripped the airbag sensor when I wired up the high beam button having forgotten to replug the jumper. Stupid omission and I'll now need a Durametric to clear it and most likely just deactivate the steering wheel airbag altogether.

I'm working on the indicators now and will put together a full DIY thread later this month. Eventually I'd like to wire buttons for the PASM and PSM as well and will wait to do that next season.

Stay tuned.

Sweet! I totally missed out on this as my wife was out of town and I wasn't sure I could bring a 6 year old on the track with me. I've been wanting to take a run around TMS for awhile now, hopefully next time.

It was huge fun. A few folks had kids with them, although I can't recall there were any that young. Lots of Amern muscle - Corvette, Camaro and Mustang clubs, one Ferrari, several Porsches, pick up trucks, etc. It was a blast. It's my understanding it's an annual affair...T

LOL. Did that last Friday. The PSE is loud enough for me. I usually keep it off on my own street
People were staring when I put the 24 in the front.

Yesterday I took my kid to his Hockey game in Milton ... busy rink !

Decided that black sport designs were nice; the car didn't handle the same anymore. Anyway, got back the CH-R's after having them refinished. I think I like it

Default Since a couple of you asked:

Since a couple of you asked. Please find a couple more pictures of my car with the newly added Ducktail spoiler and upper valence. I have no idea what brand the spoiler is but the upper valence is an OEM Porsche part. I purchased it from a GTS that was featured on the HRE wheel web site. I thought it was a Getty Design when I purchased it through a classified ad from the Rennlist's classified ads, but when I compared it to another car with a Getty Sport rear it had a lot of differences including some kind of relay that I have no idea what it plugs into or does and the LED and harness it came with have Porsche part numbers on them.

Cheers
