Wow, that's exciting news. Any other details you can share? Where did you buy it from, and how much did it cost (and in what currency), etc.? Please post an update with pics when you receive it and better yet, after you install it. We're waiting with bated breath here in the States!

I second this with the same enthusiastically held breath!! Please do share any and all details you can. I have a cousin coming to visit in the next 10 days or so from Germany. Maybe he can “import” one for me!

There's likely to be a US specific version, an EU version may have problems working properly in the US (e.g. radio station carriers on different frequencies, etc.).

Agreed with this. You'll definitely want to hold out for the US version. I can't imagine it will be much longer before they hit US shores if they're beginning to ship in the EU. We've waited this long, so I'm hopeful we're getting close!

I just sent Suncoast Parts an email with the part numbers to inquire if they're received an update on US availability. I'll report back after I hear from them.

And while we're on the subject, does anyone happen to know why there are two part numbers listed in the owner's manual that was posted a few months back? I have to assume one is for a Bose equipped car, and the other is for the non-Bose cars, but would be curious to find out for sure.997.642.590.00

590 - Rest of world
591 - US version

also, the shown black head unit is for Cayenne E1. The grey one is for 997 or 987.

I heard back from Suncoast Parts when I inquired about availability of the new PCCM+. Below was their response.

"Nothing definite as of yet. We are hoping for around March 2023."

That's a little unfortunate to hear. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a Christmas miracle.

I'd settle for a Festivus miracle. We already have a List of Grievances.

I got a message yesterday, that delivery will be delayed.
The order was made at a Porsche dealer.
By the way, I was told that the PCCM for the 996 has been returned from stock to the factory for some problems....

Let´s hope, 997 PCCM will be in time next week.

Wow, that's exciting! @RaBe please keep us posted on the install and initial impressions. Are you going to install it or have the dealer install it?
