Here's a new eBay listing for what appears to be a private individual seller. 2001 seal gray coupe, tippy, but only 33k miles. Nice carbon fiber interior. Current bid at $19,600 (reserve not met).
I would love to see the history report on that one. The car looks like it has some sort of story with the cover of the fusebox off/missing. Also the bottom right fuse appears to be messed with...........

I just saw on the Manheim dealer's auction website that this Phoenix dealership has this vehicle for sale on the Online Vehicle Exchange (OVE) for a purchase price of $44,000. They are asking $49,918 (well, they say that's an internet special price and the original asking price was $55,995, but I call bull**** on that). Since they have to pay Manheim a seller's fee plus there is always a profit built into an OVE "buy it now" price, I am quite certain that they'd sell this car to a consumer for that same $44,000, plus of course the doc fees and other additional profit makers that dealers always get you for.
2004 cabriolet, 6 speed, 52k miles

I contacted the seller and asked about that. Here was his response:
"that's not a fuse, but rather the port to allow you to open the hood if the battery is low. In our case, since we drive the cars so little, we disconnect the battery while the cars are in the storage building. I should have pushed it in, and re installed the cover before taking the pictures, but..............
Good catch BTW"

I was checking for a bad fuse some time ago, forgot to put the cover back on. Did ot run a carfax on the car.
Thanks for looking. Cheers, Mac
Btw you are in the KC area? Let me know if you find a good 996TT I'm in the market and live also in the KC metro.
Doesn't hurt that BAT seems to be pulling retail+ numbers on many Porsche's recently, especially when you figure in the buyer premium! Your already just a few bids away from what I'd peg as a an enticing price on the car.
That buyers premium is a nasty surprise the first time you bid. 5% is sales tax territory in many states.
Ooh, that's a nice find Mr. dabulls. $38,995 asking for a Midnight Blue over Gray 996TT, 6-speed with 85k miles. Looks like they have 14 Porsche cars in their used car inventory, so not just a one-off deal for Porsches with that dealer.

Now if I could just come up with some scratch to purchase this beautiful car!
