David, Thank you very much. Every bit of information I get on the car makes it more and more dodgy. I find it hard to believe that the car has only about 300mls more since 2011. Not sure how hard it is to manipulate the odometer on a 996tt but it smells fishy. The guy also does not seem to be in a hurry as I still have no info from him.

I stopped by today to look at the car. They were closed already at 4:15, says they should have been open until 5. The entire situation over there seemed really sketchy at best. It was in a warehouse area, and you can't see the cars. I would recommend to keep looking honestly. Best of luck! David
